About this property
Tyra Penthouse Ski-In/Out — 4BR, Sleeps 12
Ski home on Four O'Clock, step off your skis, walk into a 4-bedroom penthouse at Tyra II. The Snowflake Lift is under 50 yards on foot for the return trip. Main Street Breckenridge is eight minutes on foot. Sleeps 12 across four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. This is the property for milestone group trips where nobody wants to lose the mountain to logistics.
THE SPACE Four bedrooms and 3 baths across a penthouse-floor plan. Bedroom 1 has a double, Bedroom 2 has a king, Bedroom 3 has two bunk beds (sleeps 4), and Bedroom 4 has a queen — flexibility for parents, adults, and older kids to spread out. The open-concept great room has a 70-inch smart TV, a gas fireplace, and plush seating for the entire group. The fully equipped kitchen has stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, and dining seating for 10 to 12 so meals happen together instead of in shifts. Three parking spaces are included — logistics get simpler at a size where they usually get harder.
WINTER SKI ACCESS Ski-in/ski-out on Four O'Clock — one of the mountain's most storied runs. Walk under 50 yards to the Snowflake Lift for the ride back to Peak 8. Breckenridge Ski Resort spans 2,908 skiable acres across Peaks 6 to 10, and the Imperial Express chairlift on Peak 8 tops out at 12,840 feet — the highest chairlift in North America. The BreckConnect Gondola and the free BreckFree town shuttle handle the connections you cannot ski. Non-alpine days: Nordic Center trails, Stephen C. West Ice Arena, Country Boy Mine winter tours, dog sledding, snowmobile tours, and sleigh rides.
THE LOCATION Eight minutes on foot to Main Street Breckenridge — restaurants that book out, breweries with fireplaces, coffee, ski shops, and the Riverwalk Center for winter performances. Winter events include Ullr Fest in early January, the International Snow Sculpture Championships in late January, and the Christmas Market at Blue River Plaza on December weekends. Peak 9 base is a short walk or shuttle ride; Peak 8 base is a short drive or gondola. Arapahoe Basin is roughly 15 to 20 minutes for a longer season. Denver International Airport is roughly 1.5 to 2 hours by car.
GILSON CONCIERGE Managed by Gilson Property Group — a professional hospitality team, not an individual host. Optional winter services through the Gilson concierge include grocery pre-stock so a fridge for 12 is loaded when you land, private ski instructors, lift-ticket coordination, in-home massage after a big day on the mountain, airport transfers from Denver or Eagle, and dinner reservations at the tables that book out. Ask through the listing message thread — we quote and book.
GUEST ACCESS Self check-in via keypad. Your code arrives through the Gilson guest portal before arrival, along with parking pass details, Wi-Fi, and door-by-door directions. A brief identity verification through the portal is required before check-in — a standard security step used across our Breckenridge inventory. Three parking spaces are included; guests have full private access to the entire penthouse, and building amenities including outdoor hot tubs (Closed) and lounge areas are also included.
MANAGEMENT Gilson Property Group is a Colorado-based professional short-term rental manager, not an individual host. Same-day answers through the listing messenger, verified guest onboarding, and a licensed hospitality team on the ground in Summit County. Concierge menu on request.
BEFORE YOU BOOK — WINTER NOTES Primary renter must be 25 or older. Damage protection replaces the traditional security deposit, so there is no hold placed on your card. It is offered at checkout and may be declined; guests who decline accept responsibility for any damage claims. No pets at this location. Breckenridge sits at approximately 9,600 feet — plan for a slower first day. 4WD or AWD is strongly recommended December through April. Three parking spaces included. Ski-in/ski-out is real at Tyra — boots on at the door
Important Notice: Hot Tubs are currently closed until further notice due to construction.

We enjoyed our stay at this property! It’s a great location and short walk to Main Street. The beds were very comfortable and the layout is perfect for multiple families. The bathrooms were all updates and nicely appointed with toiletries. We didn’t realize there was no ac, but once we opened the windows the condo became very comfortable. A few kitchen appliances and supplies were old and didn’t work properly, but we were still able to make a nice breakfast. Overall would recommend this property for couples or multiple families. Great stay!!!
Property is truly ski-in/ski-out. It is in very good condition. it is close to town. Everything worked well. Well appointed.
Only complaint is that there is no bureau with drawers in the upstairs master bedroom. With all the ski clothes and street clothes 5 06 drawer to keep clothes is really needed.
Serene location and exceptional proximity to town & amenities!
Our stay at this VRBO property was nothing short of exceptional, earning it a well-deserved 5-star rating. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a meticulously maintained and beautifully appointed home that exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was evident in every room, with modern furnishings, high-end appliances, and thoughtful touches that enhanced the overall comfort and convenience of our stay. The property's picturesque location offered breathtaking views and appreciated proximity to the ski lift! The seamless communication with the property owner made the entire experience stress-free, and their commitment to ensuring our satisfaction was truly commendable. We relished the convenience of local attractions, dining, and outdoor activities, all within easy reach. Without a doubt, this VRBO property provided an unforgettable getaway, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable retreat.
This is the perfect location. We really enjoyed our stay here. The home was exactly as described and extremely convenient to the lift and skiing back. The kitchen was fully stocked and very clean. Gilson was great to work with and we will definitely be back.
The property is comfortable with apparent recent updates to the baths and kitchen. The common areas are showing their age but it doesn’t really impact the comfort of the accommodations.
Great property. My family of 5 had a wonderful time there. There are some kitchen items that need to be upgraded and we advised mgmt. One thing to note. Thr master bed was very comfortable but too high for anyone below 5'5". I don't understand the logic behind having it so high. One other iss
