House was amazing! Great location! I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing is that we could not get the jacuzzi to turn on though we didn’t really want to use it.
Yes, the amenities were in good condition. There were two issues that were turned into AvantStay. A deadbolt that was frozen, and blocked the only escape from the bedroom in case of a fire, and my wife turned the other one in.
We had an incredible stay. Everything was clean when we got in and the house is spectacular, with everything you need to have a great vacation. The location is perfect, combining a beautiful view and short walk to town. Would love to stay again!
Our group had a great time at the house. Great location. Ample room for everyone to hang out comfortably, sleep, and break off into side conversations. A bit pricey, but we would likely stay here again.
Great communication, easy check in, awesome views from the deck. Plenty of room for all 14 adults in our group. Comfotable beds. Propane supplied for grill.
We picked the perfect house for our Christmas ski holidays. Loved walkability to town. Sledding and skiing from here easy. House ideal for family with young adults and their friends. Fit everybody comfortably. Avantstay managed all of our needs.
We had a large family group, with 10 adults and one infant. Accommodations were excellent, with space for everyone! Great location, close to town and skiing. While some spaces (kitchen and most bathrooms) were updated, the home did show some wear and tear and a little aging. But everything was in excellent working order, and it didn’t take away from the cozy charm and comfort at all! The hosts were super accommodating and responsive. We would absolutely return!
Here's the good and the not so good. The host was good and kept me informed as to the reservations, house, entry/access, and even sent a text in the middle of our stay to ensure everything was good. The house has beautiful views and was well-stocked with plenty of towels (even pool ones for the hot tub), blankets, and pillows. The house is beautifully decorated and each bedroom was warm and inviting with excellent mattresses. As far as the stairs, there are A LOT of stairs in the house: there is a main kitchen/living room on the top floor and another partial kitchen/living room on the bottom floor -- separated by 7 flights of stairs (appx 8 steps each) which contain most of the bedrooms. This wasn't a deal breaker but just a little overwhelming as we were not expecting that many steps/floors to the house. Also, there was a lack of communication with the owner/maintenance providers on our trip also. We paid extra for an early check in time (graciously provided by the owner) and a maintenance man was onsite patching drywall and painting upon our arrival at 1:00 pm. He left within 15 mins (after providing us much needed info about the local area, elevation, stairs, etc.). On the day of our check out, a hot tub maintenance man was outside at 9:00 am (did not inform us of his presence which caused an issue) so we were unable to use the hot tub on our final day before checkout at 11:00 am. Bottomline, we would definitely stay there again as beautiful views and well provided.
Our extended family of thirteen all came together in Breckenridge for a special spring break trip. The Avant stay team was extrememly communicative and helpful (even plowed the driveway when we got over 1.5 feet of snow!) and the house had plenty of bedrooms and common spaces for our big group.
Two things to note: the house is a bit older and there is some wear and tear throughout (but overall extremely clean and comfortable!). Also be aware that there are five flights of stairs that connect the different levels of the home. My nephew is special needs and while some stairs are fine, the sheer number in this house proved a little challenging. Not a negative review! Just something to be aware of based on the needs of your group.
Thanks AvantStay for a great home base for us in Breck!
Great location - walking access to the main areas of Breckenridge. Great view of the ski area. There were a couple of minor issues, but the property manager, AvantStay, was very responsive and resolved these issues quickly. Hot Tub was used every evening.
The house was absolutely perfect in every way! It was spacious yet cozy and it was so close to Breckenridge Main Street. We never had to call an Uber and we loved being able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Would definitely stay here again.
The views are outstanding! Location is convenient to shopping, restaurants, family activities in downtown Breckenridge. Free bus system takes you to the base of the mountain to ski.
We came here for a work retreat with 12 adults - it was perfect! Plenty of space, large bedrooms and bathrooms, and a gorgeous view of the mountain. We can’t wait to come here again!
This was a family reunion/fun escape for our adults. The property is pretty well worn & tired. One couple left & got a hotel because the window in their room didn't open. They also felt the WiFi wasn't strong. There were stains on the carpet in their room. The bathroom light bulb was out. The door knob fell off.Location was excellent!!!
14 family members stayed for a long weekend. Plenty of comfortable beds and bathrooms and 2 family rooms so lots of room to spread out. The house has lots of stairs which give you a good workout and the views are fantastic! Location is a quick walk to Main Street with a path for a short cut, very convenient walked everywhere.
Overall nice property. Many of the screens were damaged, kitchen baseboards were damaged, pool table bumpers were damaged. A little dated which pictures don’t show. Overall nice stay loved the proximity to town. If anyone in your group has physical difficulties the steps would be an issue. Also would be a problem with little kids.
The panoramic views of the mountains were stunning! The location was ideal--quiet, yet close to town and trails. Yes, there are stairs, but the variety of rooms and number of beds and bathrooms is very accommodating to large groups/families (we had 15). Grill was good and there were many games for guests to use (and books as well!). Yes, there were some things that needed fixing and some wear and tear, But it was a great stay and we would choose it again!

The exterior of the property is very dilapidated and in need of routine maintenance and upkeep. There was a lot of rotting wood on patios, bringing into question the integrity of the raised patio structures as well as minimal outdoor furniture which made it difficult for larger groups to enjoy the patio areas. The property boasts offerings and features, but we were disappointed to find some not working or in poor condition. Location is great, views are great. We just did not feel that the price point of this property was aligned with others when condition/amenities are the primary consideration factors.
I would’ve given the property an A but I have to give it a B because of all the stairs and our little grandkids were too young and they were too dangerous for them.
