LATE SPRING SKIING
We are now in Late Spring Skiing Season. As Breck's plan is to continue ski operations as long as the snow lasts into May, please remember skiing is weather and conditions dependent at this point.
DIRECTIONS OR PEAK 7/8 BASE and GONDOLA
You can walk along Park Ave or the Blue River trail to the Gondola. Take the free Main Street Trolly then walk one block to the Gondola. You can take any of the free buses (bus stop is directly outside the building) to Breckenridge Station and walk across the street to the Gondola. Take the Gold Express bus (picks up directly outside the building) and take it directly to the base of Peak 7 and 8.
April 15th: Peak 9 and 10 close. We are no longer ski in/out after this date.
April 21: Ski school and all beginner terrain (green runs) close.
April 15-28: Skiing moves to Peak 8, 7 and 6 + Imperial and T-Bar only.
April 29th - End of season: Skiing moves to Peak 7 only.
April 29th- May 3rd: Health Club Closed for Annual Maintenance.
Gondola: Closed April 30- mid June for wildlife migration.
THE CONDO
This is a 400 square foot studio located on the sixth floor with great views of Baldy Mountain and phenomenal sunrises. New king-sized bed with Denver Mattress Doctor Choice Plush mattress and a new queen-size leather pull-out couch with a new Classic Brands 5 inch memory foam mattress. There is a Smart 55 inch flat screen TV with HD cable, a closet, four-person dining peninsula, fully equipped kitchen with new stainless steel oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker w/ coffee/ tea and all cooking basics. The bathroom is divided into three rooms and makes it very functional for multiple guests. The bathroom has double sinks, a large mirror and bathtub with shower.
HOT TUB, POOL, FITNESS CENTER
Just completed a new $5 million renovation. The new health club now features an indoor/ outdoor pool with a shallow pool for young children with a slide and water features, four large hot tubs with water falls, gym, steam room, sauna, community room with games, couches, fire place and large tv. LUGGAGE STORAGE
For guests taking a shuttle free ski & luggage lockers are located inside the garage near the health club door. Lockers can hold luggage and skis for up to 4 guests. Available daily from 8 am until 5pm via a reservation in the digital app. Items must be removed by 5pm.
THE BUILDING
The Village at Breckenridge is a large complex located between Main Street and the base of Peak 9. It's connected to ski school, the Quicksilver Chairlift and Silverthorne green ski run. The unit is located in the Peak 9 Inn building. Lift ticket sales and ski rentals are also located in the complex.
BUILDING PAID PARKING: NOT INCLUDED
$40 a night year around - Starts at check in time and ends at check out time. Garage entry height is: 7 feet 6 inches.
I can reserve one paid parking spot in the building's garage for $40 a night year-round, based on availability. The garage does routinely hit capacity, especially last minute, on weekends or holidays. The building requires payment at the time of reserving and it's non-refundable. Please note there is no free overnight parking in the Town of Breckenridge as the town has eliminated overnight parking between 2am-6am on all streets and lots.
If needed, it's paid separately. I’ll send a Payment request which forwards to the building. Booking doesn't reserve a parking space. I will not make a parking reservation until you confirm that you want a parking reservation as it's non refundable.
ALTERNATIVE PARKING OPTIONS
You can park free for 30 minutes to unload/load at the entrance of the building by putting your license plate number in the parking machine. Then move to one of the two only overnight lots in town:
1. Ice Rink Parking Lot (189 Boreas Pass Rd): 4 blocks away. You can walk through the Village Plaza to cut the walk in half. Cost: $20 weekdays/$35 weekends.
2. Airport Parking Lot (1760 Airport Road): 1.5 miles away. Free bus runs every 15 minutes from the lot to the building between 6:20 AM and 11:20 PM. Also an easy bike option if you brought your bike. Cost: $5 weekdays/$10 weekends.
SHUTTLE
During winter, most guest opt to take a shuttle service from Denver Airport. Shuttles are incredibly reliable with hourly departures regardless of weather. You’ll also travel in comfort with wifi and avoid the hassle of chain restrictions and winter conditions. Once you arrive, everything is within 2 block and you won’t need a car. The top shuttles are: Epic Mountain Express (20% off with Epic Pass), Summit Express, Peak 1 Express & Fresh Tracks
NEW COLORADO I-70 HIGHWAY TRACTION LAW IN EFFECT SEPT 1 - May 31
Colorado passed a new traction law all cars (rental or personal) must have four-wheel or all-wheel drive, or snow tires or traction chains and minimum depth for tire tread to be 3/16 of an inch, 24 hours a day between September 1 and May 31 on I-70 up to the mountains. Tickets start at $130 and up to $650 if you block the highway because you did not have the proper equipment.
Because of the new Traction Law, I highly recommend taking the shuttle, as most rental car companies in Denver do not provide any of the equipment to meet this requirement
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:
No resort fees! All other MGMT companies in this building charge $50-$75 per night in resort fees, some you don't even know about until you arrive, so you are getting a much better deal with no hidden or added fees (other than parking, only if needed. We're fully transparent and provide you with the parking options, locations and rates in town so you can make the best decision that meets your needs and budget).
The front desk and front desk valet is not available to guests for anything, this is a service only for Vail Resort guests. The front desk and HOA can't help with parking or keys, you have to contact me. Their guests are paying $100 a night extra for this service.
Cleaning fee is $115 regardless of length of stay. I proudly pay my housekeepers a fair living wage in the mountains and in return we've received phenomenal service for years. Please don't ask for them to take a pay cut, they work very hard and arrive on time regardless of mountain weather conditions.
12.65% Breckenridge room tax is INCLUDED in your quoted rate.
There is no air conditioning in the mountains, but it's not needed. No balcony. No fireplace.
Since the windows are used to cool the unit and it's in the mountains, at times surface areas can be slightly dusty. I promise we dust at every cleaning, but it's the mountains and the windows are open.
