Bayou Belle - Butte La Rose

Located in the heart of the Atchafalaya Wetlands, halfway between Lafayette & Baton Rouge, this 2,800 sqft property has a spacious living area & well-equipped kitchen. Walking upstairs, you enter a sunroom overlooking the water. One of two bedrooms has a work desk or can be used as a vanity. Downstairs is a game room with a pool table & entrance to a large deck with outdoor amenities & beautiful scenery. Bayou Belle is great for fishing, relaxing, & fellowship. Laissez les bon temps rouler!

Great stay!

Getting into the house was easy. Finding the place was not too bad. I was mistaken on the layout of the place and my mother is elderly. She had a little trouble with the stairs. No fault of the property or owners. The house was nice and it did have a basketball game and pool table. We didn't really use the back deck much. If you need more than 6 places to sleep I suggest bringing an air mattress for the other part of the bedroom off the main bedroom. There are 2 restrooms one upstairs and one downstairs which was nice. There is a visitor center near by. They were very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. All in all it was a great place to stay and relax.

We had a great relaxing time! Place was just as described very open and spacious. Kitchen was very well stocked. We loved the pool table and basketball game. Host was very accommodating and very responsive.

Great Thanksgiving Getaway

Property was very nice. Clean, well supplied, so nicely decorated. Was a wonderful home away from home. Plenty of room to spread out but cozy enough for family time.

Nice stay

We had a very pleasant stay. The host is extremely nice, incredibly responsive, and very accommodating. The house could use some upgrades/maintenance but it was still perfectly comfortable.

Bayou BelleGreat House for Multiple People, property just as it is listed, very spacious.Good location for us as we have family living on the Butte.Cool view of the water, had fun playing pool and Basket Ball.Quick 20 min. ride to get groceries, 40 min. ride to Lafayette Airport.Matt was quick to communicate. Fishing Honeymoon

Wanted a place to sit and fish from the deck but water in the canal behind the camp was not even moving and covered with greenery. Not a good fishing place at all. Very disappointed!

Great place!!

We had a great time. The house was beautiful and sits on the water with a huge deck and a private dock to fish from. The owner was super nice and responded quickly to all of my messages. Would definitely stay again!!

Quiet with plenty of space

We traveled down to visit with family, and I worked remotely from the rental for a week. There was plenty of space for me and my son; having a desk area to work from was extremely convenient. The neighborhood was quiet, and the back deck was lovely to sit on in the evenings. The internet was just fine for all of my remote working needs.

Great place!!

Me, my boyfriend and dog stayed the weekend for my birthday. The house is way prettier than the pics. We loved the completely fenced deck that our dog could come out on and not worry about her. We also played a lot of pool. The host was very fast to respond and also gave us great suggestions for places to eat!!! We had a GREAT time!!!!
