The best time to visit Brașov City Centre is during the shoulder seasons, specifically late spring (May-June) and early autumn (September-October), for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.During these months, the weather is generally mild and agreeable, great for exploring the Black Church, strolling through Piața Sfatului (Council Square), or walking up to the Brașov Citadel. You'll find the city is less crowded than in the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed experience at popular attractions and restaurants. This period is ideal for couples looking for a romantic getaway with comfortable temperatures for sightseeing and outdoor dining.Summer (July-August) also offers warm weather, but the city can be very busy with tourists, especially around major events. While the energy is high, you might experience longer queues and a more bustling atmosphere. This can be a great time for families, as there are often more street performers and activities in the main square, and the longer daylight hours allow for extended exploration.Winter (November-April) transforms Brașov into a picturesque, snow-covered landscape, particularly appealing around the Christmas markets in December. However, temperatures can be very cold, and some outdoor activities might be limited.
