"I asked the girl at check-in for a first-floor room with 2 double beds. I am handicapped in a wheelchair, and she got us exactly what we wanted. Very clean room. Only one light in the room, so kind of on the dim side. The bed was too soft for me. The location was located to all kinds of stores and restaurants. They accept dogs for a small fee, which was great for us and our beloved Harleyquinn. Breakfast was supposed to be between 7 a.m.- 10 a.m., but at 7:15 am when I went to check out, the lobby was not open yet. I believe the worst thing is the parking. I do believe there is more in the back, but the front was pretty packed. I had to wait a few minutes for a truck to move so I could park in front of my room. Would stay here again, especially the price of the room."

"We had a great stay here! This was a long weekend girls' trip. There was easy access to the lake, a clean property, and really good food on-site at the restaurant with live music. The sweet potato hummus is a must-try! The pool was refreshing with plenty of activities to choose from: cornhole, volleyball, and pickleball. There's a little ice cream shop open in the afternoon. You can take a ride on the catamaran or the tiki boat for a small fee. Our stay was reasonably priced. The staff was friendly. Just an easy, no-nonsense, enjoyable getaway. We loved it and are thinking about making this a yearly girls' trip! Thank you so much for a great stay!"

"This is our once a year big family vacation. The place was nice and spacious. With that said, we plan on doing very little for the week, puzzles, reading, swimming, some small hikes. We cook at the house regularly and are not the go out to eat type. There were not any regular kitchen chairs to sit at work a regular litchen table, only the corner booth & it was uncomfortable, the island had 2 tall chairs, but the island leaf was at a terrible downward angle, making it tough to eat at . The outside double deck seating wasn't very comfortable to hang out and read, but ok for a quick dinner. The kayaks were great. The water was ALL algae and not the best to swim in. While it was a nice getaway, I think we would not go back. The biggest problem was the water/swimming condition. If you go, come prepared to bring it buy embryonic you need for seasonings, condiments, ice.. The basics are not there. We did spend time cleaning up the outside area, as there were toys and garbage all over the place. The grill was very well used and dirty while the flat top grill was in unuseable condition. I have paid less for better conditions as we use VRBO every year. This is our 10th year going on a family vacation and I think we learn a little from each rental. Thank you."
