Staff were great. Property is very pretty.

The hotel's location is unbeatable for walking from old town to the new town. One elevator was not working so we had to take an elevator to the 7th floor then walk up to the 8th floor to our room via the stairs. The morning was tough to get an elevator due to the cleaning staff. Overall, a great location, nice room and friendly staff. I probably would stay here again just for the charm despite the minor conveniences.

Every interaction felt thoughtful and personal, which is rare and made a lasting impression. What stood out most was how accommodating the team was with our requests. Nothing felt like a burden to them—they handled everything efficiently and with a level of care that made us feel completely looked after. The hotel itself is stunning—full of character, beautifully maintained, and effortlessly blending comfort with elegance. Every detail, from the rooms to the common areas, reflected quality and charm. This wasn’t just a place to stay—it was an experience. Hotel du Vin Edinburgh has set a very high standard, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone looking for a truly elevated stay.

Loved everything about this property. The apartment was immaculate, the furnishings were lovely, the bed was comfortable, there was appropriate lighting in each area, laundry available (I assume on each floor), sensory lighting in the hallways, excellent communication from the off-site staff. I have nothing negative to say about this space.
