We asked for an early check in a week prior to arriving. I sent another msg a few days later because I hadn’t received a response. They did accommodate a slightly earlier check in time. When we got there we didn’t have a BBQ on our property, they said one would be delivered in the afternoon. It came at 9pm when we were all going to bed. There was black mold around the tub and the toilet leaked. I asked for a different cottage for our last night due to water appearing to come into the bathroom from the rain. No answer. Hardly any channels on the tv (not a smart tv so couldn’t stream anything either) and no DVDs for kids on a rainy day. Cheap and good location.

Great little cottage, great location close to Brackley Beach, only had alittle issue having no hot water on the first morning but contacted the property owners and they were onsite site to take alook and fix it with 25 mins of messaging

We stayed in a three bedroom cottage for two nights. We did not have access to air conditioning as when I turned it on there was a strong smell of something rotten. There were also Beatles and earwigs in the cottage. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and caused back pain due to the springs. The property manager was great with communication, did an extra cleaning of the cottage (walls were not cleaned and remained quite dirty), and also provided a discount for the inconvenience. The cottage was not up to our minimal standards or expectations. However, the property manager was very kind, apologetic and tried to remedy what he could during our stay.

Small little cottage - pretty bare bones. Great location super easy to get to beach and some shops. Parking at Brackley is difficult but could walk or bike from cottage. Laundry was available. Friendly hosts. Good lower cost option on the island during peak season.

The place is modest, a bit dated and could use some love but overall confortable, clean and has pretty much all needed. Though it is close to a busy road in the daytime, it is surprisingly quiet at night, even with the windows open. The place also offers a central situation and a fast drive to Charlotetown. Towel exchange hours are a bit odd for we are pretty much gone in the daytime. Appreciated our stay.

Loved that it was close to Brackley Beach for swimming in the evenings. Not far from Charlottetown, Cavendish, as well as dairy bars and fries just down the road. Kitchen was well equipped. Not fancy decor but clean, had everything we needed for our stay to cook meals, bbq when we didn’t want to eat out.

The worst part was a giant insect I’ve never seen before scrawling around on my bed. I obviously couldn’t sleep afterwards. All of it’s outdated. The location is nice and the staff is super nice and helpful, but the beds aren’t sturdy. The couches are old and dusty and the drains in the bathrooms don’t drain properly. You have to stand in the stagnant water while it drains.

Overall it was a great spot for 3 nights. The cabins have everything you need for your stay. Nice quiet area. Only issue we had was earwigs in one of the bedrooms. Kept finding them appear over the 3 days we were there but only in the one bedroom.

The place was clean but smelled musty when we got there. Windows had been opened up before we got there. I’m questioning black mold on bathroom floor around toilet and tub. That could have been the smell. But other rooms were all cleaned.

Quiet setting, nice grounds. Some big shade trees, patio deck and chairs to enjoy the outside. Owner came over shortly after arrival to see if all was in order. The staff were great for tips and directions for sights and great food or shopping. Cabin was cozy, clean, all necessities, and a great comfy bed.
