Great for a group!

Excellent Property!! Just know the heated pool isnt free:)
We had a fabulous time. The accommodations were phenomenal. I would definitely recommend and stay again!! BUT.....I recieved a text from the property manager saying I would be charged $600 for turning the heater on on the pool. Thankfully, the pool heater had a lock on it so I wouldn't have been able to turn it on. They sent a pool guy out to confirm and discovered the sensor sent a false alarm. My concern was, it advertised heated pool as a selling point. Nothing in the description said it was $600 extra. I would suggest updating the description so that guests are aware or including it in the cost. Again, definitely 5 stars on the accommodations!

An amazing getaway!!!

Great weekend away with Family and Friends
The property was great for 3 families together and the convenience to RDU is unmatched. We rented a boat and added in the Chef experience which made this place a great getaway! I do recommend the owners put a good cleaning inside and out on the house shortly. Nothing terrible, but it would be a huge benefit.

Just as advertised!
Don’t hesitate if you are considering booking this property. It is beautiful, exactly like the pictures. We had my small wedding on a beautiful dock overlooking a scenic lake. It was perfect! I would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake a little more but the hot tub was a good conciliation! TV and wifi worked as advertised. Our only issue is that we could not get the surround sound to work but we brought our own speakers so that helped. Communication with the property manager Tony was also great! He was immediately reachable and very accommodating to us.

Great Home for Large Family Getaway!
The executive mansion was a great place to stay. The kitchen is great, the theater room is awesome, and the game rooms and outside amenities provided everything we needed for fun family interactions. The only down side was that the description didn’t make clear that the rooms with three queen beds actually have two queens and a sofa bed.

Highly recommend this property
I had 31 people at this property...everyone was SO comfortable! Plenty of space for everyone, lots to do, very clean, completely stocked, gorgeous view and amenities. Bedding was very clean and comfortable and towels provided for all. The host was incredible...always responded to me immediately. Just a few suggestions...tv's were older and either not compatible or not working so I recommend they be upgraded to Smart TV's, several kayaks were in desperate need of repair or should be discarded. Also, the upper deck above the dock seems slightly unstable. Master bath jacuzzi tub was inoperable. Regardless, I HIGHLY recommend this property!! It was AMAZING and we would all definitely stay there again!!

Unfortunately, a hurricane was looming over us and we lost power for the approximately 18hrs.
Eventhough we had no lights for approximately 18hrs we had an awesome time. The house is just as amazing as it looks on the website

Huge Home, Great Lake
We were a group of 25. 13 adults 12 kids. 6 family neighbor trip. The home is enormous and was very spacious. Check in was easy and the house was ready for guests. The property manager, Tony, was easy to communicate with and when we had an exterior lightning issue, Freddy responded promptly and helped resolve the issue. We hired Chef Christian for two nights and he was amazing. He set up everything on his own, without any assistance. Just stay out of his way and let him work. Great meals and a good guy. We rented the pontoon, which was great and I think it’s a must. Not too much in the town areas, but we knew that coming in. Lake, dock, toys, theater, pool, balconies and the grills were a hit. Ice maker was very useful. Some minor issues with the home (light bulbs, a couple breakers turned off, some dust bunnies), but honestly the house is so huge and the fact that it’s constantly being rented I really think it would be impossible to be perfect. Any issue I had was addressed right away. Overall the space is great and the location on the water was wonderful. I recommend

"Mansion" is a good description
Our family of 21 enjoyed a week of relaxation and renewing family ties. The weather was very cooperative. The house is very spacious and served our needs and wants very well. On Sunday, I reported to the property manager cloudy water in the pool. According to the property manager, the pool was serviced on the previous Saturday and to be serviced on Tuesday but was not. By Wednesday the pool was green and serviced on both Thursday and Friday preventing us from using the pool all day Thursday and Friday. The lake was a good substitute, but unfortunately several members of the family were not able to use the lake due to physical limitations. Could not find a cutting board in the main kitchen, and there were very few kitchen dish clothes/towels. Several pieces of furniture were broken (dining room chair, bedroom chair) and light bulbs either missing or burned out. The ice maker was a big hit and was called upon often. The lower rack on the main kitchen dishwasher was very difficult to roll in/out.

Home was much larger than expected!
The description did not do this home justice! More than enough room for our group of 21. Check in was easy as pie, and we had great communication with the property manager. Everything we needed to start our vacation was easily explained. All the linens and towels provided were clean and in great shape, and the beds and pillows were comfortable and supportive. If the bedroom was not an en suite, the shared hall baths were more than accommodating. Pride of ownership is shown in the home. Nothing was in a state of disrepair, and the few things we did find that were broken were due to misuse from other renters. The things we had informed the owner about were immediately repaired, and he thoroughly thanked us for letting him know. We definitely plan on renting again if he’ll have us!!

The entire family enjoyed our time in this enormous home! The lake was incredible and the pool was perfectly designed for just chilling out or fun for the kids. There were some quirks as there are with any home, but Tony took care of any questions or concerns that came up right away!

A Few Things Lacking
Overall, the house was a great space for what we needed, but there were some things lacking and some issues I wouldn't expect at a property of this caliber. What was good: -Lots of space! -Different living areas and multiple laundry rooms. -Was great for my parents to be able to rent the boat from the property manager so it was already there waiting for us. -Pretty, quiet, private location. -Pool was wonderful and the kids especially loved it. -Great to have a refrigerator by the pool. What was lacking: -Biggest issue for me: my brother brought his dogs by for 15-20 min to say hello to their "grandparents" before he dropped them at the kennel. The dogs were outside only. After this, I received a message from the property manager saying he wasn't aware we had pets and charging me $500. I am a rule follower so I understand them wanting to get the fee that they say they will charge if pets are there - I did explain the situation and the charge was rescinded. However, my big issue with this is that with the dogs literally there for 15-20 min being noticed, I felt like we were being watched, which is not a fun feeling when staying at a vacation rental. -Mouse feces in some of the kitchen drawers had me questioning overall cleanliness of kitchen items. -Kitchen supplies were lacking. For a house that sleeps 40+ people, better supplies would be nice. We had to go out and buy a second cutting board to be able to cook dinners for a large group, the two can openers there did not work, for example. -Main level kitchen is missing a shelf on top of the drawer. This was really inconvenient as it meant that we had to pile stuff up on top of the items in the drawer and could not open the drawer to retrieve items. Lower level kitchen didn't have shelves on the door. -No filtered water except for very top floor refrigerator. -Listing said there were treadmills, which a couple people were wanting to use. No treadmills or any exercise equipment there. -Main level master bedroom was warmer than the rest of the main level making it uncomfortable to sleep in. -Outdoor pool area lighting - found a remote that supposedly turned on the lights around the pool on the last day. Couldn't figure it out before then. -There is a small, old dock on the property that is unsafe. Nephew fell through injuring his ankle when retrieving his kayaking gear. This should be closed off or removed. Overall, house of this caliber needs improving.

This home is perfect for large groups with many amenities and a helpful host
Host was very communicative and helpful with all questions. The home was beautiful and offered a lot of entertainment from the pool, movie room, ping pong, air hockey, billiards, kayaking, and boat house with 2 boat slips and an upper deck. The views from the many decks on the house are beautiful. I would recommend this house to anyone with a large group!

As great as the pictures make it out to be!
We had a phenomenal stay at the mansion (it truly is a mansion)! Everything is as advertised. There are just as many beds, places to hang out, beautiful views, amazing amenities, etc. as advertised. We had a group of 30 adults and kids at the house and it was perfect for all ages. The game room, hot tub, and theater were big hits. It was a bit cold to be jumping in the lake (although many kids still went for it!) but the dock has amazing lake access. There are several kayaks and paddle boards to use as well. All around a great stay! If you like what you see in the pictures and the description, you will like what you rent. There are not many houses like this one!

Beautiful property but needs some addressing
My husband and I hosted our family and friends here for our wedding. We had an amazing time! The weather Gods blessed us with 70+ degree weather in February! It truly was an amazing experience and we would certainly do it all over again! With that being said, there are a few details that should be addressed. Upon arrival we couldn’t access the house since the digital keypad was not working correctly. We called Tony and he answered immediately and was able to let us in remotely. The house needs a little more detail in its cleaning. Kitchen cabinet doors had what looked to be dried milk all down them. There is a professional dual coffee maker however only one carafe which was too small and ended up overflowing. One 10 cup pot off coffee is not enough for 20+ people. The floors were dirty, shelves and cabinets were dusty. Huge clock that served as a backdrop to our wedding pictures was the wrong time with no way of reaching it to change ( minor but annoying). The door knob fell of the lower level bedroom door. The dishwasher would not turn on which left us hand washing dishes for 25 people all weekend. The kitchen on the upper level is next to bare, no coffeemaker or anything. I would stay here again and again even with all of the things I mentioned, however, with the price we paid these are issues that I feel should be acknowledged.

Family Reunion
Hi there! Our reunion was so good and I really want to give a 5 star review, because your beautiful home is the best we have ever found to accommodate our large family. However, we had a few issues that I think are worth mentioning so that your home meets the needs of future renters and gets the praise it really could deserve. We found out on day 2 that the Master shower was not usable. (We had already been notified about the broken Jacuzzi tub) Fortunately no one had used it yet but it was extremely inconvenient not to have that additional shower and tub. Also, many lights needed bulbs replaced, the refrigerator and freezer were dirty and missing shelves, and the wine cooler did not seem to function at all. Overall, the house needed a deeper cleaning. Outside, the lawn needed leaves blown and there were broken chairs in the yard. As a large family, we always struggle to find an affordable house with enough bedrooms and bathrooms. We were disappointed to find that two of the bedrooms did not really have privacy. (The top floor loft area and the one with glass doors. This made it uncomfortable for the older people and napping babies. I think it would be fair to ask for a partial refund given these issues. But I also want you to know that there were SO many pluses to this property. Comfortable beds, plenty of space and areas to gather, eat, and play games, inside and out, well-stocked kitchen (except for dish towels, dish rags, and rocks glasses:) It truly could be perfect!

We really enjoyed the space and amenities this house had to offer! There was something for everyone. Per the homeowners recommendation, we visited the Rosemony Winery and were so pleased with the wine selections. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

Great for multiple families
We stayed here with 5 families- 10 adults, 15 kids. There was plenty of space for everyone with beds to spare. The layout of the bedrooms was a little unclear from the listing but it turned out great when we got there. Every family had a bathroom to themselves. The movie theater was a big hit. It really felt like we were at the movies! Air hockey and pool were also a lot of fun for the kids. The kids swam in the pool despite it being in the 60’s and the hot tub was used around the clock. We asked for it to be treated halfway through our stay because it had been used so much and the property owner sent the pool maintenance guy right over. Beautiful sunsets from the decks. Lots of fishing off the dock. Only complaint was our time went by too fast! We will definitely stay here again!

A Brilliant Weekend
The property, and location are fantastic. It has everything you need for a really reasonable price. I would rent the property again. There were a few minor niggles, but I wouldn't let that put you off. The property wasn't super clean. I had to clean out the sink, someone had emptied a trash can into it, there were cigarette butts around the pool, cobwebs and dirt around the windows. A property manager did show up unannounced when we were all in our bathing suits to remove a boat. some notice would have been nice.

Great location for team meeting/retreat
Perfect location for our regional meetings and retreat. Great place to just hang and relax or enjoy the water of either the pool area or the lake. Would highly recommend this property for corporate events, weddings or a great family vacation. Very spacious with 4 levels of different rooms. The owner was very easy to communicate with.

Property was beautiful and house was big. Housekeeping was not too good. One bathroom was not cleaned with feces all over the toilet which we had to clean. A bed was filthy which we had to wash the bedding. No towel in powder room and no dish towels in kitchen. But we had a great time.

Lovely home with tons of space and everything we needed
The home and view are absolutely lovely!! The house had everything we needed (and more) to keep our group of 18 entertained all day long. Our goal was to spend time together and the large open spaces made that easy to do on the dock, at the pool, and at the extra large kitchen table. All of our concerns were immediately taken care of by the maintenance crew. Would love to go back!!!

Fabulous corporate rental!
Our company hosted our annual corporate sales retreat in this incredible home and it was absolutely perfect! We had a chef come in to prepare our meals and the space was gracious for food prep and comfortable dining. We used the main living room for our lectures and group activities and it was comfortable and large enough that we could all move around too. The scenery was spectacular and everyone had plenty of privacy in their rooms. We will definitely come back from our retreat next year!

Great Views
In need of TLC. We spent some time knocking down cobwebs and washing the bedding (it was not fresh & some blankets were tattered). Its a good thing we brought towels and blankets theres no way there would nave been enough. Once this was done we had an awesome time! plenty of space for all, its a lovely property, the owner replied quickly(which was everything) The cleaning crew has today attention to dust! It was everywhere! the fans, light fixtures, bathtubs etc.... But I would recommend the property!

Perfect for a larger group.
This place was perfect for our group. We had 20 people stay very comfortably with several beds not even used. The house is well stocked and equipped and the large kitchen is very user friendly. The outside decks were great as was the pool area. 5 star stay.

Awesome Group Getaway
Overall this place is amazing. It’s massive, the main kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, utensils. We were a group of 14. Everyone had a bedroom but note that not all bedrooms have their own entrance. This worked great for a family that was with us, they had the master which connected to another smaller bedroom via a mega-bathroom. I’d love the owner to update a few maintenance things. 4 of the chairs in the main dining and living room were not sturdy- I’m sure they get a lot of use and no one reports that type of thing but it would be a shame if someone got hurt.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! House is huge ! We only had a group of 7 so it was more than roomy enough. The view is spectacular!! Everything in the home was very convenient. Great outdoor setting for large group to dine with the grill right there. Everyone enjoyed the pool and slide. The game areas were also a lot of fun. Kitchen was a great size also. We would definitely go back. We had a few glitches which were quickly handled by Tony.
