2BR Slopeside Disciples Village 691 - Amazing Ski In/Ski Out on Boyneland!

Welcome to our Lower Unit #691 - an awesome two bedroom condo right on the Boyneland ski slope! You can literally walk out your front door, take ten steps, put on your skis, and ski down to the Boyneland chairlift. The best part is this lift runs seven days a week and has night skiing. Then, when you are ready to warm up, simply ski back directly to your patio from Boyneland.
There is a king bed in the master bedroom. In the second bedroom there are two queen beds. The living room also offers a very comfortable queen sofa sleeper. This allows this 2 bedroom, slope-side condo to sleep up to 8 guests! Need more space? Ask us about renting this unit and the upper unit. As a lower unit, and with normal Northern Michigan temperatures, this unit does not have air conditioning. The condo also has quite a few steps to get up to it, as it is the King of the Hill, and located directly on the slope! With multiple units that are in nearby buildings, we are also able to accommodate multiple large groups, family reunions, or even corporate retreats.
The Area:
Boyne Mountain is a golfer and skier's paradise offering the top-rated skiing and snowboarding and golf courses in the Midwest. Boyne also has one of the largest water parks in the Midwest, tennis courts, Deer Lake/Beach, and several dining options. Golf, skiing and snowboarding lessons are available at the resort. We highly recommend purchasing lift tickets, ski rentals and booking tee times for golf in advance. For details regarding resort amenities, please contact the resort directly for pricing on their day passes and lift tickets.
Deer Lake is a public lake for you to enjoy, and 7 miles away is Lake Charlevoix in Boyne City.

Fun Stay

This was the perfect spot for a family with 3 kids that like to ski all day. Easy to come in for a break without having to spend time in the lodge. Seamless stay, no problems and was what we expected. It can be a little noisy from the floor above just from them walking around but not a big deal to us. Quiet enough at night

Perfect time of year and very comfy place!

The condo was clean and nice and had everything we needed. We walked around a bit and the property is beautiful. And we were so close to Boyne mountain, the Sky Bridge, Boyne Falls, Lake Carlevoix, lots of restaurants and nature.

Last Minute Trip

We booked this property for a last-minute family of 4 ski trip. Location is wonderful and unit was stocked with everything we needed. I'm not sure if we missed in the description or it wasn't mentioned but to access the unit required approx. 30 uphill steps to carry luggage. This was not a big deal for us, but something people should be aware of. Beds were a little hard, but could be personal preference. Very happy with our decision to book and would stay here again.

In addition, we were a short ten steps away from the green run off Boyneland lift so we could ski on and off at our leisure. The condo was stocked with essentials upon our arrival. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to ski at Boyne Mountain. Be aware this is a first floor unit so the sound of the upstairs neighbors walking through their unit in ski boots is going to be distracting. If you have littles napping during the day, we wouldn’t recommend a lower unit.

Fit the whole family

This basement condo for our family of six very well for a two night stay. Would be a tight squeeze for a lengthily stay with one bathroom and no kitchen table for meals together. Worked great as a place to stop while touring the area and neighboring towns. I failed to read the description carefully and was disappointed when we realized that access to the swimming pools at the resort were not included. You can pay for a daily pass. We just wanted to use the hot tub one evening but didn’t want to pay $15 per person for an hour in the pool. If you want to go up the chairlift, you will need to purchase tickets for that as well. We were planning on walking the SkyBridge anyway, so we had access to the chair lift for the day we went up to the bridge. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the condo was a good fit for our short vacation.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of six had enough sleeping space and they pull out couch was comfortable enough for my teenager. However, although it says it sleeps eight there is only four available seats in the living room. We tried to play games in the evenings but had a hard time finding places for people to sit to gather around a game. They’re definitely needs to be more thought for the gathering space if you’re going to advertise rental for eight people (especially 8 adults!). Just a heads up in the room with the king bed the heater clicks and rattles all night, keeping us up quite a bit. Also it does not say it in the description but you’re basically in the basement section of a nice condo. You have your own entrance and it is private but you definitely hear the people upstairs coming in with their ski boots on and walking around in the evenings. The condo was cleaned when we arrived and the furniture that was there was in good condition. The kitchen was well stocked with amenities and a good amount of counter space. The bathroom was clean except there was mold in the shower.
