Disliked: Cleanliness
Great Location but Needs Deep Clean and Maintenance.
The property is in a great location, very close to the beach. The pool pictures make the pool look much bigger than it is but that didn’t really bother me.
This place needs a deep clean! At first glance it was clean enough but then we took a good look around.
The floors had not been mopped in who knows how long. When I wiped some yogurt my child dropped on the floor the paper towel was covered in black grime. The high traffic areas were wiped (hopefully) but there was a layer of dust elsewhere. Especially noticeable was on the decorative plants and table/rack in the bathroom and living room.
Mold spots from condensation on the windows. Smushed and leaking ketchup packets inside the silverware drawer.
Lightbulb was out over the dining room table. Fan and light in upstairs bathroom wasn’t working. The dining room table wobbled so bad we were afraid it would fall down. Cabinet door hung off the hinges in the kitchen. More dust in corners. No spare towels or bedsheets. And the washer had so much mold around the rim I wouldn’t dare put my kids clothes in there. No dishwasher pods but they request you start the dishwasher before checking out. I can go on…
All of these things are easily fixable and could have been cleaned had someone cared enough to do so.
My daughter wasn’t feeling well so I asked if we can check out late so we didn’t have to rush but I was told it would be an extra $30.
I would’ve been happy to pay extra had the place been up to standard.
