Maine Summer Escape

We spent 6 weeks of Summer here and loved everything about it. Down East Maine, the great weather, friendly people, access to Acadia, Schoodic, Bar Harbor, and many smaller harbor towns along the coast. The property was exactly what we wanted, secluded but close enough to get to everything. Fantastic cabin with all the amenities. We will be back.

Good morning Alice, we got in last night (this morning) around 1am.....Your cabin is AMAZING. My adult son & daughter in law want me to buy it. LOL. We had so much fun but especially we enjoyed the firepit family time. (You'll need to replenish the wood!). My 3year old grandson loved the 'treats' you left him and his hide-a-way fort at the top of the stairs. My daughter peaked at the mattress tag of the king bed so she can order herself one............so comfortable :) The decor was so great, I loved it. Awesome cabin!

My wife and I had an amazing time at this cabin. The host is extremely accommodating. Everything you need is there. The cabin itself is private and gives you an immersive nature experience. We have stayed twice already and plan to again!

Fairytale cabin

A little piece of heaven!

Alice and Kyle did an amazing job with the cabin! They thought of everything little detail from the amenities down to the decor! My husband and I were looking for a relaxing get away and Rocky Woods Cabin was just that and more! On top of that, Alice is an amazing Host! Cabin by the sea

Alice and Kyle were tremendous hosts and were a pleasure to communicate with. The cabin was absolutely amazing , sparkling clean and the property was great to walk around. Wonderful escape in a great location to explore all of Arcadia National Park and the surrounding coastal communities. Delightful remote setting in a welcoming cabin on a beautiful 40 acre property. Sweet cabin with pristine surroundings

This cabin was absolutely lovely! We enjoyed watching a family of porcupines and hiking the property, finding wild blueberries. We enjoyed Corea, Winter Harbor, Bar Harbor and Acadia. This is the perfect place for your Maine adventure. Comfortable beds and a wonderful place to land after our daily adventures! Highly recommend.

Lovely Vacation with n Maine

We stayed at Rocky Wood Cabin at the beginning of July. The cabin was lovely and on a secluded property so we truly felt as though we were out in the woods. On a clear night, we could see the Milky Way. The hosts are incredible! So kind and responsive. They left us a generous treat basket our teens really enjoyed. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable.

Loved everything!

The property was so quaint, well decorated, and in a great location. We loved going to Acadia and then leaving the traffic and people behind for our quiet retreat. The owner communicated everything beautifully and thought of everything we would need to make our trip even better. Cabin was clean, beds were comfortable and trails were great for kids to meander though!!

A Peaceful Getaway

We loved the cabin and surrounding grounds. All the saplings and rock features made this a one of a kind location. The rooms were all very inviting, especially the main living area and fireplace. All the wonderful books to peruse made winding down very enjoyable. The cabin’s location was a nice distance from Corea, and both the Schoodic and main attractions of Acadia National Park. We will be visiting again someday and will be sure to recommend this cabin to friends.

Amazing anniversary cabin for a wonderful vacation.

My wife and I flew into Boston from Atlanta and drove up at night and said “wow how quiet and peaceful” as the stars were so bright and close, it seemed. The cabin was very clean and felt like home and it was home for the week we stayed. The bed was super comfortable! My favorite place to visit while there was Schoodic Penninsula, a definite must see!! Our hosts were very informative and responsive. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back!

Anniversary and first trip to Maine

We totally enjoyed our stay and it was just what we needed celebrate our anniversary and to wind down before the holiday craziness. From the moment we stepped in, we so appreciated the attention to detail. The owners have thought of everything to make the stay here wonderful. The cabin is adorable and cozy and the property is beautiful. We spent three of our days hiking in beautiful Acadia and the rest of the time just enjoying our time here reconnecting and relaxing. We took advantage of the hiking trail, fire pit, cornhole, coffee on the porch, and peaceful nights under the stars. Our stay was everything we hoped it would be and the perfect way to enjoy Maine for the first time. We hope to come back again!
