  • Nice condo with community hot tub only steps away. There is plenty of parking and it's located only minutes from Mountain Village. Enjoy the piece and quiet or all of the great outdoor activities the areas has to offer.

    This ground flour unit has 1 queen sized bed and a pull out sofa. Pets are welcome as long as long as they are cleaned up after both inside the condo and outside.

This was a very cozy and quiet place to stay close to Cass. It had everything we needed and we were supplied with all the passwords and codes that we needed to make things go smoothly. There were a few small cleaning things that could’ve been a little bit better, but other than that, everything was great.

I had a question before our visit and the host replied very quickly! I liked that the property was reasonable, pet friendly, and not far from Cass, where we went for a train ride. I would definitely stay at this location again if I came back to the area.

The location was perfect for our trip to Cass Railroad. Very remote location, so take what you need with you. The floors were dirty. I swept, mopped and shook rugs before we could comfortably take our shoes off. Dog hair was found on counters and bathtub. The place needs a good cleaning.

We went off season and it was nice and quite. Just what we were looking for. We had a great chat with Billy who owns a unit there. The only potential negative is it advertises a hot tub and we had an access code but there was a padlock on the door.

Consistently Dependable

This is the second year we’ve stayed at Chris’s VRBO and have really enjoyed the location, communication, and consistent dependability of this studio as our ski weekend family crash pad. Also, love the neighborhood that is dog friendly.

Small, dated property, but had most of what we needed. One side of the mattress sagged. No nearby restaurants or grocery stores made it painful to discover that there was no coffee or other accoutrement to go wit the Keurig coffeemaker. Well soundproofed & thoughtful nightlight in bath.

The property suited our purpose. We were disappointed that the screen door did not close, because our dogs weren't able to see outside when we were there, and the view from the front was not that inviting.

Besides these few things that gave the impression of a lack of care, it wasn’t bad. 1) There was a full size dehumidifier sitting on the bathroom sink with a full size garden hose obscuring 1/2 the sink for drainage. How many people spit on that hose that you are now trying to rinse your tooth brush around? 2) The heat shield clearly visible behind the couch was just scrap home foam insulation. It looked like it was taken from a construction site and tossed back there. 3) the closet door fell off its track as soon as you try to open it. 4) Random other odd things that looked like they were just thrown in for some unknown reason. 5) Musty smell when we first went in. Owners response was “If you were expecting the Ritz having paid $71.50 a night, I don't know what I can do to help you with that.”

It’s a cute little studio apartment. Perfect for our stay. We went to the Cass railroad for one of the days so this was convenient. Had to make a search for the tv remote but eventually located it. I do wish one small amenity were some coffee pods. There is a Keurig and in our other vacation stays there are a few k cups. Would have been nice.

Great place. Perfect for a couple getaway. Close to attraction without being on top of them. Cass Scenic Railroad a must if you visit. Property owner was great and quick to respond. Highly recommend this homeowner.
