Holiday Homes in Bourre

"Apart from a few cobwebs (which can appear in moments), the accommodation was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable and the general feel of the place was appealing; it was very quiet at night, alarm clock was not needed thanks to the very regular dawn chorus of the local cockerels and chickens! The view was problematic but this was not the fault of the owner but of the neighbour, however the goats and horse somewhat made up for it! We did find the accommodation kind of basic in certain...

"It was in a very quiet location close to the centre of Amboise almost under the Château and next to Leonard's last residence. It was very quiet and cool, and pleasant to relax in with the windows onto the street open."

"The spa/jacuzzi is great and well maintained. The house has a baby cot which is convenient for families with a small child. Countryside quiet location but close to the city of Amboise and very central in the Loire valley."

"Compact house, clean with complete kitchen and a washing machine but the furniture was not so comfortable. The location is ideal to explore the area; everyday we went to a different castle."

"Very friendly host and recently refurbished gites. Some lovely outside space too! Would definitely recommend."
