You can also access the Wick ferry (300 metres), which carries you across the river to the bustling town of Christchurch. The glorious, sandy shoreline of Southbourne beach (1 mile) is a popular spot for families to enjoy paddling and relaxing. From here, you can enjoy some lovely walks, including the Hengistbury Head Circular (1.5 miles) and coastal paths. If you can tear yourself away from the coastline, visit the stunning New Forest National Park (6 miles), where there are ancient woodlands and miles of paths to explore.


    Park up the car in one of the two private spaces at this property, and head into this inviting retreat.
