Spacious and Clean 2 Bedroom in Dorchester Neighborhood of Boston

Clean, spacious two bedroom is close to Ashmont Village, UMASS Boston & Downtown Boston. You’ll love the Quiet neighborhood with included off-street parking. A short drive, uber or train ride to downtown. My place is good for couples and families (with kids). Lots of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood.

Great neighborhood. In the city but tree lined streets make it feel more suburban.
Great neighborhood bars and restaurants are a short walk / uber away or you can head downtown.

About a 10 minute (1 mile) walk to Ashmont Train station (Red Line). Bus at bottom of street as well.

Such a great house!

Quite neighborhood

The apartment worked well for us, easy enough to get into the city. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. The neighborhood is very quiet, so, we slept well. We did not use the kitchen, except to make coffee in the morning, so, can’t really say much about that. Wi-Fi worked just fine.

Great place

I stayed in this apartment with two friends while visiting Boston and we loved it. It's spacious and homely, and the hosts were good communicators. The location is conveniently walking distance to the red line, which was very convenient for visiting downtown. Overall it was a great find and we would recommend it.

Terrific property met all our needs

It is a lovely older house in a quiet neighborhood. We could walk to a supermarket and a playground as well as to bus stops to get us to the subway station. The window air conditioner units did keep the house cool, but were quite noisy. The rooms are quite spacious and well-furnished. The only negative is that the hot water was too hot--be careful.

Quiet place

We really enjoyed staying here. The apartment was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. It's only about 15 min from the airport. We were happy for the coffee provided. The shower head and water pressure in the bathroom was great.

Nice Triplex

The location of this rental was ideal - close to downtown Boston, JFK Library, Franklin Park Zoo, train stop, etc. It is in a lovely neighborhood with good restaurants, parks, grocery store, ice cream shop, and more. And it was wonderful having an off-street parking spot.

Amazing

We had such a lovely time visiting Boston. The place is very nice, clean, big and had everything we needed. Neighborhood is quiet. Parking was nice to have. Everytime I had a question he responded so quickly. Very helpful. We will be going back to stay there again.

Nice house and great hosts

We were very thankful for the window units. Being from Texas we are used to central AC, but the window units in each room kept us completely comfortable. We also were very thankful for the third bed/bedroom. This gave my son a place to be instead of just the living room. The house was great, parking was easy behind the house and the hosts were great at communicating.

Great Spot

This place was perfect for our family of 4. The location is great. Less than 20 minute drive to downtown Boston or a 15 min walk to the train (note: there some steep hills). Only a few minutes to get on the interstate if you’re traveling. The roads are tight with cars parked on both sides. The off street parking was vital. The unit itself was great for us. The third bed off the tv room was as each of our teen daughters had their own bed. We enjoyed it and would rent again if we travel back to Boston.

Great Hidden Gem

This was our first time to Boston. This apt was in the perfect spot. Nice little beach just minutes from the apt and Boston is right there. We drove in and parked but the red line is just down the street. The parking situation at the apt was great, tight, but very handy! There are 2 markets close by and restaurants. We didn’t go since we were usually in the city for meals. Perfect location for a day trip to Salem, Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard.

Mostly negative

Positives: Great location.Negatives: The house is dirty, bedroom door unable to close, towel rack rusty, there’s no shampoo, no conditioner, no body wash. Kitchen pots and pans are worn out. Kitchen sink faucet wobbles. Bathroom fan appears loose. No smoke alarms that is not safety at all.Overall, the location needs fixing up and improved amenities.

Wonderful!

My bff and i take a trip each year without our children and husbands and this year was Boston. We chose this condo because our the off-street parking and our proximity to things we wanted to see and it did NOT disappoint! The comdo was comfortable and clean and the extra coffe and snacks were fantastic. My husband wasn't too go to Boston next year and I'm already looking to see if this is available!!

Great stay here

We really enjoyed our stay here - the house was clean and well-stocked, and had everything we needed. The closest subway station was a short drive away. We were able to walk to dinner (although bear in mind there are hills so a certain fitness level is needed). The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The only thing to mention is the listing says there is a hot tub, but it’s referring to the bathtub having jets in it. This may just be a regional difference in terminology - and it was such hot weather a hot tub wouldn’t have been enjoyable lol. We would definitely stay here again.
