The location is perfect to us. We walked to Harvard Campus, a few minutes to Red Line and buses. The facility is in good condition, including the amenity at the hotel and the room. The front desk people are very friendly. We will come back to Boston in a few months and if available, we would like to stay here again without a doubt.

We have stayed here many times because of location, price and adequacy of accommodations. Rooms are small, but efficiently designed. Storage is limited. Bath is tight, but it is well-appointed and works. The restaurant downstairs has become a lively spot. McCarthy’s pub, just steps away, is fun. Good and varied shopping is close, as is the T stop at Porter Square.

Easy check in, beautiful and updated hotel. However, the mattress was so hard I could barely sleep for any length of time without constantly repositioning myself (I’m in my 30s which says a lot). It was the worst mattress of any hotel I’ve ever been which was so unfortunate.

Room is clean and overall fine, but quite basic for a supposed 3 star hotel. The room lacks storage, with only a hook that fits 2 coats, a shoe rack, 1 drawer in each of the night stand, and a small desk. No fridge in the room (unless requested). Super Friendly staff and clean rooms, just so unbearably small and difficult to get around if you have two people in the room. Our shins are bruised from constantly banging off the corners of the beds, trying to move about. The bathroom is also very very tight. The restaurant and bar need to stay open later than they do. Twice we’ve stayed at this hotel and twice upon returning we wanted to have a drink, but have gone elsewhere because the bar is closed. Also, lotion would be a nice amenity. So other than being too small, everything else is great.
