Property is a new bungalow style, 760 s.f.. unique home and is exceedingly comfortable. There is a bright and spacious front room with cathedral ceiling and natural light on three sides from ten large windows. A wood burning Jotul stove adds ambience and warmth on cold winter evenings. A spiral staircase leads to a loft with a skylight and futon. The bedroom has a queen bed and direct entry to a rear terrace. The entry porch has outside seating. A marble bathroom features glass shower, wall hung fixtures and a washer/dryer. Property is fully landscaped and offers two car parking. There is easy access to Marblehead's best outdoor experiences such as beaches and conservation land. It is a half mile walk to shops and restaurants in the old town and harbor. There is also a grocery store/beer store within 5 minutes of the house. Property is brand new construction designed by architect/owner. Minimum age for guests is 23. It is five miles from downtown Salem.

Easter Weekend Stay

Our stay was wonderful - the house is the perfect size for two people, it’s very clean, it’s very quiet, it’s interesting to just look at, and it feels very private…a great little escape from the very accessible nearby cities.

Beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Neighbors were very friendly and the street was very quiet. Absolutely looking forward to staying here again!

Beautiful and calm place to stay!

We definitely made the right move in staying here while visiting Salem. Salem is crazy busy and this place is in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. Super easy Uber ride to Salem. The house is clean and easy to feel at home.

Marblehead Cottage

Loved this location. It was quiet and had close access to conservation nature areas, the quaint old downtown of Marblehead and it’s bay. We enjoyed exploring the town and learning about its history. We recommend this cottage for those who love history and nature and appreciate being away from the hustle and bustle of a city. The host was very helpful with suggestions about historical landmarks and local groceries and restaurants. .

Cute getaway

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway for a couple or small family. Everything was clean and tidy and as pictured in posted photos. The cottage has a pleasant cedar aroma and the surrounding landscaping is lovely.

Wonderful stay

Nice quiet neighborhood. Close to Salem very easy to get back and forth. House was very clean and comfortable. Heat lamps in the bathroom were such a plus! Would love to come back.

Gem in Marblehead

The property was well maintained and very cute. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again! The loft could use a little more amenities and the loft bed had been used when we got there. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the house.

Amazing Little House!

This house was exactly as advertised and the perfect place to stay. It clean with clear instructions about how everything works. The hosts communicated very well. Sweet Little house

Lovely little house in a quiet neighborhood. We sat and watched the birds in the morning. Very peaceful! House was immaculate. Loved the ‘crows nest’ space upstairs. Can’t wait to book this again.

Perfect Respite!

What a fabulous experience I had staying in this gorgeous home. I was in town for the weekend attending a retreat, and this was the perfect place to seek calm, peace and solace. The listing does not do the home justice. It was impeccably clean, well maintained and thoughtfully designed. The bed and linens were such a lovely surprise! So soft and comfortable. Communication with the owners was flawless as well. I hope to return again on the future.

Perfection in Marblehead

This is the perfect place for a couple visiting Marblehead. The home is one of the most well-designed I have ever seen. So clean, we felt like we were the first to stay. The space is small but amazing well thought out with fantastic appliances. The light and connection to outside is stunning. The location is about 500 feet from a local store and wine/beer. Across the street is an access point to a trail system that can drop you out at the beaches, on the way to Crowninshield Island (which you can walk to during low tide and was our favorite place to be near the ocean. You can walk up and down the historic area from the same conservation area. No need to drive anywhere really unless you want to visit the more commercial area where some of the other places are located. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful and were available to chat when needed. Could not ask for more in a VRBO stay.

Perfect Cozy Spot

Excellent little place in the perfect location for exploring and relaxing. Quiet and comfy but with easy access to all the sights. 5 minutes from town, 10 to Salem. Great walkable neighborhood was a bonus. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing stay!!

My wife and I came to visit the Marblehead/Salem area, and absolutely loved everything about our stay!! The property we stayed at was exactly as described, amazingly clean and orderly, and an absolutely beautiful little oasis of a bungalow! The neighborhood is. Wry clean, neighbors are all very nice, and the property managers/owners were nothing but accommodating! Ms. Damaris was super quick to allow us an early check-in, and the check-in process was probably the easiest I’ve ever experienced! They also leave plenty of information on the table about the surrounding area, amenities and attractions! I would absolutely recommend, and will happily stay here again the next time we visit! Thank you so much, David and Damaris!
