Excellent location to see Boston car-free.

This unit is in a great location to see the best of Boston. It is on a beautiful street with a walking park down the middle of it. The unit is remodeled with an updated kitchen and bath. It is on the second floor and faces the street. So good views of the park. We were there in the fall for a month. The weekend evenings can be a bit loud with people and cars on the street late into the night. The only minus were a few of the listed amenities that didn't work for us (slow wi-fi, DVD player, instant hot water dispenser), there were no wash cloths or dish cloths, and the knives were not sharp. It is a great place to stay and enjoy the sights of Boston.

Fantastic stay; Can’t ask for anything better than this!

We stayed six weeks at the condo with a 9month old baby. Stewart was amazing with us and helped fix the AC problems. He provided us with playpen, highchair and bathtub which were helpful beyond words for our baby. The condo has everything you need even for a long stay. Living room was spacious and good to have a couple friends over for chats. Location is unbeatable. We love our walks along the commonwealth mall and Boston public garden so much. Restaurants, supermarket, the T and prudential center were so close. Nothing to complain about! Thank you for being so wonderful with us. Hope to return in the future!

Really attractive, homey property.

I enjoyed my stay there and it has most everything that you need. Specifics to ask about are the laundry card and if you are there in the summer the AC situation. They are very generous with the amenities. The shower can leak out unpredictably but they provide extra rugs it seems for that purpose, but it is a glorious shower that you want to bask in. The building is very quiet, I think I saw no more than 3 people in the building in my 5 weeks and the rooftop was excellent for the 4th of July fireworks.

Location, location, locatiion!

I just loved staying at this beautifully appointed apartment while on a 3 month work assignment in Boston. The property is located right in luxurious back bay! Just a few minutes walk to absolutely everything - shops, restaurants, parks, public transportation, the Pru, etc. Excellent location. The apartment is spotlessly clean, includes professional high end appliances, and an eclectic decor with a cool vibe. The owner was super nice, offering airport transportation, lots of fabulous tips for places to go and things to see and great restaurants to try. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great property in prime Back Bay location

I stayed in this condo for five days and it was PERFECT. The location cannot be beat. Anything you need is right around the corner at the friendly neighborhood market or CVS. The owner was very attentive. I couldn't figure out the TV and he was over in 15 minutes to show me what I needed to do. The kitchen has all brand new appliances and is immaculate (and I kept it that way by not cooking!) However, if you want to cook, everything you need is there. There is also and iron and ironing board, blow dryer and all the comforts from home. Additionally, there is a ton of closet space and drawer space. I would not hesitate for a moment to come back to this very same property and I hope to in the future!

Great Back Bay Stay in Boston

We had the pleasure of staying at this property in August of 2012 and found it impeccable. The location was excellent, the furnishings the and property were all as described, clean and in perfect order. Our host, Stewart, could not have been more helpful in arranging airport transportation and providing great tips on local eateries and other nearby sights. We took advantage of everything the neighborhood had to offer – walking to Newbury Street, Fenway Park, downtown shopping, and the T Stations for quick and inexpensive transportation anywhere in the city. The unit was plenty comfortable for four – we were two adults and two children. Perfect convenience and great value compared to hotels in the area – the ability to use the kitchen and laundry helped keep things relaxed and comfortable. Terrific trip, great city, and great place to stay. We would definitely rent this place again.

Spring in Boston

This place was just perfect for our time in Boston. The apartment is close to everything (averaging 10 to 15 mins) either walking or with the subway including: Fenway, Quincy market, Harvard, MIT, HMS, Mass General, Liberty trail, Copley Square, Hynes convention center, shops and restaurants. Located on beautiful Commonwealth Avenue; the entire street was in bloom with cherry trees and magnolias it was just gorgeous. The place includes a ‘chefs kithcen’ including a Viking range perfect for entertaining a small group. All this, in one of the coolest neighborhoods of Boston; we wanted to stay longer…

Excellent Location close to Hynes & ANA show

We were in town displaying at the coin expo and had a great stay at Stewart's condo. He was most hospitable and advised us on great restaurants, parking and steered us in the right direction when it came to safekeeping some items. We will come back to visit again. Especially liked the instant hot water for tea, the extra touches upon arrival and the ease it was to get comfortable with his great big TV and wireless internet.

City location, shops and restaurants nearby.

Enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, well equipped apartment recently. A hotel room for 2 weeks would have been suffocating. Enjoyed the walks to Boston common and beyond, and also along the river. Won't miss the traffic noise from Comm' Ave' or the heavy footed upstairs neighbour. Be aware of paypal charges if this is your chosen method of payment.

Wow!

This is an impressive apartment! We regularly stay in Boston for several months a year so we have a lot of experience of renting holiday apartments there. This is the first apartment that exceeded my expectations. Every other, regardless of the price paid, has always disappointed. This apartment is exactly as described and is in the most fantastic of locations. I personally love the Back Bay area of Boston and I have always admired the beauty of Commonwealth Avenue. It was therefore a real treat to find this apartment in such an ideal location. If you haven't been to Boston before then trust me, or look at any guide book, this is the place to be located. It is often the basics which let apartments down but that certainly is not the case here. The shower for example is both attractive, spacious and works a treat. I miss it! Similarly the kitchen has been built to a high standard and we did not require anything over and above what was provided. The place was also very clean and cleaning materials were provided so that we might keep it that way. Stewart was always on hand to help us with any questions and was keen to ensure that we had a great stay. Perhaps it is not in my interest to rate this apartment so highly. We certainly intend to go back and giving a very positive review can only work against me in terms of future availability. If I have any negatives at all it is a minor one. The person living in the apartment above, who I never met, seems to spend her evenings moving her furniture around or walking in heavy shoes. I used to wonder what she could possibly be doing that required her to be so active over so many nights. If you ever find out please let me know! It isn't a problem in the bedroom and is only a very minor irritation in the living room. I only mention it because this is the only negative point I can come up with and, of course, this is beyond Stewarts control.

A great home for the week in Boston

What a wonderful find. Comfort and luxury in such a handy location for exploring Boston. Three of us spent a week here - and loved every minute. Only a short walk to Copley T (so easy access to all of Boston - especially with a $15 weekly pass) and plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Warm and comfortable, great kitchen, big living room, and lovely quiet location overlooking the gardens of Commonwealth Avenue. Would definitely recommend for a couple or even a couple and one teenager looking for a home from home while in Boston. Many thanks again.

Great Location and Condo

This beautifully updated condo was within walking distance to everything; shops, historical sites and the subway station. Very luxurious, from the kitchen appliances to the high-end linens. The condo was clean and had plenty of room for our family of four. The owner was very helpful; driving us back and forth to the airport as well as giving us breakfast supplies for the first morning. Commonwealth Avenue, with its tree-lined walking path, felt like an oasis in the city. We were glad we chose this condo for our week long visit to Boston over a hotel room.

Excellent location, and a home away from home!

This condo combines the best of locations with outstanding amenities! It is located just off Newbury, and is an easy walk to the Hynes, Copley, and the Public Garden/the Common. There are a wide variety of restaurants in the immediate area, and a grocer around the corner. Nearby T stops open up the rest of Boston to you. Seeing Boston could not be easier than from this location! The condo itself is nicely appointed with a large sitting area, open design kitchen with a bar, and comfortable bed/bath. Stewart was readily available to address any issues, and made us feel welcome. As we are back twice a year, we hope to keep staying there regularly!
