The host was excellent and very helpful in our stay. Location was in a great neighborhood as well. The Marina is very nice and secure and the boat is perfect for small groups.
The host was very communicative, the yacht was in good shape, and the marina was modern and centrally located. We especially liked the proximity to the ferry, and the bath house was an important resource to leverage in order to efficiently get through showers with five people. Besides for the two bedrooms, there are plenty of unique spots to unwind and sleep, both inside and out on deck.
Marina was very peaceful. We felt safe and the facilities were great. The boat was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and we would return.
This was an amazing place to stay. The view from the boat was amazing. It was close to everything in the Boston area. For example...1/8 mile to USS Constitution...1 mile to Bunker Hill.Chad the host was also treat. He communicated often, was a wealth of information and worked to make our stay as comfortable as possible.Basically, I couldn't recommend this boat enough.
Staying on the yacht was a fun experience for our young adult children. It was comfortable and we had the best view for the fireworks. Chad was accomadating and very attentive. Thanks for a great vacation.
If you’re looking for a relaxing experience don’t look any further! I wish we were able to stay longer. Beautiful scenery, boat was perfect and Chad was so accommodating and helpful. Will definitely be back!
Chad and Holly were super helpful! The boat had plenty of space for all five of us and was a unique experience versus the same boring hotel room.
Would definitely recommend!
Chad and Holley were incredible hosts, they addressed all our needs immediately. They offered us an extensive list of local restaurants that were spot on. During our stay we experienced a couple of wonderful sunrises. The marina was calming with spectacular views of Boston during the night.
Was a great Boston experience! Chad was a great host w/great suggestions and quick responses. Would recommend this property for 2 couples or 2 singles. Second bathroom is a bit tight but bathhouse nearby was a perk. With ferry nearby and quick ride share responses, location was great. Also walkable to alot of great spots. Highly recommend!
Boat was more spacious in the sitting areas that I thought it would be and kitchen exceeded expectations. Bathrooms are quite small so just be prepared for that, and there are steep stairs you need to navigate. But you can't beat the location - great being in the Charlestown marina.
It was so much fun to stay on the boat for our trip to Boston! We had a great view of the downtown area and yet were in a more tranquil environment
The boat was just as pictured and very comfortable for the 4 of us. Chad was so nice. He met us at the marina, showed us around and even gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner nearby . We took him up on both restaurants and we’re not disappointed!
I highly recommend staying there and hope to return
We loved the boat!! The location cannot be beat! Chad was great!! He gave us great recommendations and was quick to respond to us with the answers to our questions. The marina is clean and everyone that we came in contact with was very nice and helpful. It is a very unique experience and one we would do again.
when viewing VRBO came across a Boat! what an experience!! This boat was very accomidating for the four of us. Beds were extremely comfortable, and just relaxing on the boat was so much better than being in a stuffy hotel room. My siblings were jealous of us and now they want to experience this adventure.
My family loved staying on Chad and Holly's boat! This was so much better than renting hotel rooms. It was cozy with multiple areas to hang out. I travelled with teenagers and I had no problem sleeping while they stayed up late. The MBTA ferry was incredibly convenient and easy. Chad was easy to reach and close by to respond to any needs. I highly recommend. In fact , I'm about to send the info to my aunt who wants to travel to Boston. I'm looking forward to the next visit!
Never thought we would stay on boat but wanted something different. 3 nights 1 too many for us. Bed comfy and enjoyed sitting outside. Loved being on the pier and host great. Bathroom and shower so small needed to use bath house. Rec.for young couples
Loved every moment of our time on the boat. Convenient to ferry over to Boston Long Wharf and all the historical sites.
Chad was fantastic at telling us what we needed to know about the boat and the marina and giving suggestions. He was easy to get in touch with if we had questions or issues. We didn’t have any issues.
Will definitely tell our friends and hope to come back another time to stay. Highly recommend!
We stayed aboard Chads boat during a windy, wet and cold storm at beginning of April. The boat held up well and Chad was reassuring that these weather patterns are not unique. Despite the cold temperatures outside the boat stayed comfortable. The marina is easily accessible to downtown via ferry, 20 minute walk to T line and many other restaurants in Charlestown/North End. Chad is an excellent and welcoming host.
Overall the stay was fun, unique and pleasurable. Chad was good at communicating and offering suggestions regarding the Boston area. However, we did have a couple of issues with the shower drain and gally sink and although Chad committed to rectifying the issues, he did not do so. We ended up using a plunger to manage the most immediate situation, not ideal when you are paying to stay on the boat. The boat stay offers a fun and different experience for a vacation get away.
