"It’s a beautiful house, great for a weekend getaway. Be prepared to drive down the road for easy access to the lake as the access near the house is a bit of a climb down to the water, so if you have elderly or toddlers, there will not be an easy way for them to make it down to the water. Nor will there be an easy way to transport your things. Besides that, the place was absolutely wonderful. The hosts leave notes all over the house to help you, from which light switch turns on what, to how things work in the house. It was very informative and inviting. This place gets a 10 in my book."

"Perfect size for 4 people. The bed if very soft and comfortable, the futon couch was thick but more on the firm side. Definitely was stocked with essentials, including shampoo/conditioner/lotion. Nice bonus touch to have cold waters in the fridge and snacks for the taking. The mini split kept the inside cool, but at night my crew likes to sleep at about 68 degrees and it felt like it never got below 75-73. The photos are accurate, only disclaimer is the cottage sits approximately 20 yards from owners residence (assuming it’s the owners) so the back patio/fire pit face their front door. Sugar aunts did appear over night around the bathroom sink- they are harmless though and part of the experience. There is a nice area with public boat ramp about a 5 mile drive up the road that was a great location to get on the lake. It was a good weekend stay for us."

"The house was exactly as presented in photos and we had more than enough space for our family. In fact, the bunk room was better than we imagined. We prepared meals at home but found several restaurants within 5-7 min drive or a quick boat ride - so much fun! We had a fantastic trip and will be staying here again. The check-in and communication was super easy and the owner was easy to reach and very helpful. 5-Stars all the way around."

"The property is clean and decorated beautifully to match the cottage period architecture. Beautiful trees, porches, fire pit, and a perfect hot tub. The TV’s are great with multiple streaming subscriptions available for guests. The kitchen is well-equipped and clean. The private rooftop deck is a relaxing place with a variety of birds that visit often. Take your camera.The neighborhood is nice with very friendly neighbors. It is not within an easy walking distance of the lake. I hope to visit again soon !"
