"From the looks of the furniture and fixtures I believe the property had recently been refurbished. The beds were comfortable. The shower was nice with plush towels. There was a large TV, frig, microwave, coffee maker all in the room. As usual breakfast was provided and this time I tried the Belgium waffles. Very good. This is a convenient location and very inviting"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay while visiting Waco for my daughter’s graduation! With a group of 12 family members spanning multiple generations, finding a home that was spacious, comfortable, and welcoming for everyone was so important—and this property exceeded our expectations.The house is beautiful and well-appointed without feeling overly formal. It truly felt like a home where we could relax, make memories, and let the kids be kids. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the house was stocked with every amenity we could have needed during our stay.There are 30 acres to explore with beautiful scenery. The outdoor space was a highlight for our family. The pool and hot tub were spectacular! We spent our days grilling, celebrating by the pool, and making memories together. In the evenings, we gathered around the table for card games that seemed to go on for hours.As wonderful as the property was, the hosts were the real standout. Jon and Jessica were kind, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure our stay was perfect. Every question was answered quickly, and they went above and beyond our expectations in every way. They also allowed us to decorate around the pool. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special milestone with our family. If you’re looking for a comfortable, family-friendly home with amazing hosts, this is it. We will absolutely stay here again!"

"Wow, what a house! We celebrated our daughter's wedding in Waco with friends and extended family, and this was the perfect place for all of us to catch up for three days. The house is set up beautifully. The main area can easily hold 20 people, with different areas where folks can play pool or shuffleboard, sit in a corner to chat, gather on couches in front of the very large TV, or get food in the kitchen. There is an adjacent half bath for general use, and 4 of the BRs are right off the main area, each with it's own full bath in the back. The upper floor contains 3 more BRs, each with a king bed and again it's own full bathroom. The house sleeps 16 very comfortably, and up to 22 if you utilize the two sets of triple bunks (double beds) with two in each bed. Outside back, there are again ample areas for people to gather - the pool, the attached hot tub, a general seating area relatively close to the grill, and a pair of swinging chairs for a quiet conversation. Some of the guests took a short walk to the creek just down the hill. Out front, there is ample parking, as well as a basketball hoop and area to set up a pickleball court, which is provided at the property. The area is serene, without another house within sight, and surrounded by wildlife - we saw plenty of birds and deer, a turkey, jackrabbit and possum. This is the perfect place for an active family or group of friends to get together."
