"This would easily be a 5 star review if not for one significant drawback. The beachfront location was amazing. There’s nothing like the feeling of stepping off your sweet private tiled patio onto the beach for a swim in the Mediterranean then back to enjoy the beach view of sun umbrellas in cheerful colors. "We had a lovely stay at the Francesco Heritage Hotel. The staff were very helpful and obliging unfortunately we did not get the room that was showing on the website even though I did check before arriving and the room we were given was not finished as there was a lot of tiling grouting and sealant that needed snagging. We did not have a mini bar to start with, but that was delivered after the first three days and there was no table or chair which was a bit inconvenient but otherwise the room was nice. Great location in the wonderful old town of Alghero."
