"While our room was very clean, it did have old mold on the shower. This hotel is older, but it probably used to be very grand. One of the things we loved was that it included our own reserved umbrella and beach lounges. It also had a balcony with a beautiful sunset view over the sea. We couldn't get really excited about the breakfast, either, but it was definitely adequate. The small town was quiet and sleepy, not a party place. It was very reasonably priced and a good value."

Late September and was quite to very quiet No rush or hassle Be prepared to climb a few steps if you want to see the old town Couple of days here is fine. "Thw only problem we had was with the AC. We were there the first week of October and our rooms were warm. When we asked they told us it had not been turned on and they would do so. After going back and forth a few times we were told they just turned on the blower because in the ‘winter’ they don’t have AC. We did not have this issue traveling in Italy for over 25 days. It was strange and felt like they did not want to just tell us that from the beginning. Otherwise the hotel was lovely appointed."
