"A charming B&B settled outside of Lucca (~20 minutes), but with easy access to visiting many different areas. We rented a car from the airport (~1hr & 20mins) and I highly recommend it so you can move around with ease and visit different areas even go to the coast. The tolls are fantastic and fast. "This was our first stay in this lovely cottage. Perfectly positioned for privacy and getting away from it all but only a few minutes drive from all the amenities you need. Although the cottage is in the woods you do not feel enclosed, the owners have created an oasis of peace with lovely views and a comfortable home. Highly recommend this lovely cottage in a beautiful area."

"Haus ist dreckiger als erwartet. Zum Saubermachen gibt es nur einen Besen. Auch die Reinigungskräfte machen alles mit dem Besen sauber. Kommunikation mit dem Hotel lief sehr schlecht. Ständig war niemand zu erreichen. Riesiger Pluspunkt sind die ruhige Lage und der private Pool. Das hat es enorm für uns aufgewertet."

"We spent 3 wonderful weeks in Patrizia's house with our 2 kids. It became ours as soon as we entered and dropped our suitcases. The decoration is very nice, cosy and the house is very functional. Patrizia has thought about every little details. A big thanks to Gianluca, who waited for us at Lucca the first day of our arrival and took the time to show us around for the various commodities. "The oldest hotel in Italy, you won't find the sterile decor of most hotels but it's charming and clean with lots of interesting things to look at. The air conditioning is a bit noisy but was very appreciated. The views over the river are very beautiful, the Palazzo Blu is just across the river and there are some great gelateria and restaurants nearby. Leaning Tower is about 15min walk. What stood out to us at this hotel was the staff. They were all very welcoming, friendly and happy to give us advice on where to park our car, dinner recommendations etc."
