"Stayed here for 3 nights in September. We had a two bedroom cottage. It was nice as it was very private. Looked out into a grove of trees and a corn field. . The cottage itself is in need a an update. Furnishings are functional but old. . It is a blast from the past for sure. The cottage was very clean. No issues there. "

"There was 8 of us staying. 4 adults, 2 children ages 6 and 5, and 2 teens ages 18 and 16. We brought air mattresses to accomodate our family. There is 2 twin beds and 1 queen in the 2 bedroom cottage. The wifi works great. We brought our fire stick so we didnt watch the satalite tv. The dishes were a little dusty so i cleaned them before using. But thats not a huge issue. The bathroom is AMAZING. A stand up shower. A huge soaker tub and tones of space. "Pictures are real, beautiful place to stay. Road is a little rough to get here, but worth it. Sadly someone has smoked in the residence, and it is undeniable. Its a non smoking place and it kinda filtered into our luggage and clothing. I am sensitive to the smell, and its too bad someone could not respect the property."

"Across the street from a church and nextdoor to a local museum, this stay was great. The decor was wonderful and everything was well documented though it's hard to read the light switch labels in the dark 😀 Doug was a good host and despite my breaking a wine glass and lightbulb I got the feeling they'd have us back and given the opportunity I would love to stay again."

"This Bedeque property is in a prime location for daily travel to sights around the island. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and ice cream shops in nearby Summerside. Our favorite dinner was at a small shop with a very limited, but delicious, menu, called South Central Kitchen and Provisions. Holman's Ice Cream was our favorite ice cream shop, and we tried several."

"We enjoyed a great stay. The house was everything we could have expected. We used the house as our base for great road cycling trips around the island. The main road is scary, PEI drivers seem to have lead foot syndrome and race beyond speed limits. The side roads were great, with few cars and wonderful coastal views."

Communications around the required departure time by 10:15am, or else incur a $250 fee was off-putting, but this didn't impact our enjoyment of the stay. Would definitely recommend it to others."
