"I enjoyed my stay at Ghotel! It is walking distance from the train station. There are a few dining options nearby but most of them are closer to the center which is about 18 minutes walk. There are buses right on front that connect the city. Strongly recommend!"

"Can't get any better area by the Rhein. Luckily we have reserved a space for our car. Their car park is a few blocks behind the hotel. Just check in first then park your car. The room is a what I expected. Electric fan provided as ' no air con'. It is common for old building hotels have no air con. Perfect temperature to sleep would be in Winter. Great selction of breakfast food. Would love to come back for river view room next time. "

"Loved having a balcony. Could have sat there all day watching the ships, barges and train all day long. Air conditioning would have been nice but with the door open it was fine. "

"Finding the hotel was a breeze. Checking in was quick and easy. The person who checked us is in was friendly and provided us with a map and directions to the main haupstrasse district and attractions. The room was large and clean. "We were three adult family members looking for a base to explore the Rhine Valley and beyond. This property did not disappoint. The home is very well equipped, was spotlessly clean and was perfect for our group. Communication with Andrea was great, as was access on the first day. The kitchen is more than adequate with all the essentials to see you through a holiday. As others have mentioned, the futons in the lounge are not the most comfortable but we spent most of our time outside in the lovely yard. Our visit coincided with some very hot weather. As such the top floor of the house did get very hot. The AC unit did work well to manage this, without it things would have been unbearable. The town of Boppard is fabulous with many places to eat and drink and also the railway station for easy access elsewhere. We didn't use the sauna or jacuzzi (due to the heat outside!) but they looked of good quality. Car parking now costs 6 euros per day (8am - 6pm) on the top storey of the nearby 2-storey car park - much more to park on the ground level! The neighbours were lovely offering a friendly wave as we returned to the house - Der Fenstergucker was a real character, it was just a shame that he wasn't 'on duty' when it came time for us to leave and for us to say goodbye. In summary, a lovely home that we thoroughly recommend for short or longer stays alike."

"It's a magnificent hilltop castle with luxurious accommodation. But it's really reasonably priced too. I have stayed there a few times, visiting from UK. Great weekend break. Views are amazing. Formal restaurant is a bit pricey. But breakfast is amazing. Highly recommended "
