"The location and view of this property was excellent. The staff gave good dining recommendations. The fire pit at night with s’mores was nice. We were given a nice bouquet of flowers at time of check in. The morning breakfast was a bit different. The kitchen was stocked with eggs, cream cheese, yogurt and condiments and pastries. You were responsible to make your own breakfast in the kitchen. "

"We loved this cottage steps from the lake and convenient to the area sites. The lake view is amazing, and swimming in it was a favorite, along with using the kayaks & paddle board. The owners are so friendly and attentive, going above & beyond to address one water issue we had. Such a comfortable & peaceful stay - we hope to return!"

"The location was a 10 minute drive from Boothbay and the rooms were newly renovated and very cute. But some of the furniture was coming apart during normal use. Biggest concerns were as follows:1. Very poor communication from host. They didn't provide us with entry information until the morning of, and didn't answer our messages. We ended up calling VRBO the night before as we were scared from the lack of contact. They got ahold of the host who finally answered us the night before arrival. At one point I needed something during our stay and it took the host almost the whole day to return my messages.2. The drain in the shower was very slow to drain, so the dirty water built up while you showered. The door to the shower was also in need of repair, coming off as you touched it.3. There was no trash cans in our room or bathroom. We had to throw the trash on the floor. I reached out to the host requesting a trash can. I reached out to the host and they ultimately just left us a trash bag. Having a bag of trash laying on our floor was not much better than the trash laying directly on the floor."
