Great getaway

The house was spacious and had a lot to enjoy. Very close to great hiking and downtown Boone and Banner Elk. A great kitchen and layout to enjoy family.

Thanksgiving Weekend Tradition

Very clean and cozy. Easy to access. Convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. My husband and I rent a cabin every Thanksgiving weekend and my daughter, her husband and 3 grandchildren come to find the perfect Christmas tree. Perfect weekend filled with good food and sweet memories.

Wonderful Cabin

We loved staying here, the location is PERFECT! Super close to everything, Boone, Blowing Rock, the major parks. The cabin was also very clean and well kept, one of the nicer rental houses we’ve stayed at. We did have a few questions during our stay and the communication was very prompt.

Good location. Close to Boone. Off main road. Will need AWD to get onto property during snow/ice/freeze. Clean and well maintained. Great internet. Hot tub functioned well and very large. Make sure to turn it up and then down when you leave. HVAC worked well. Turn Heat on and then off later. Spacious. Right across from App. Ski resort. We also went to Beech.

Long Weekend Getaway

The five of us snuck away for a long weekend, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The location is between Boone and Blowing Rock, offering easy access to both. The house was clean and efficient. It has everything to offer home convenience without the extras you don't need or want. The basement was a great space for the youngsters to play, while the firepit and hot tub offered just enough outdoor activity. 5/5 would choose to stay here again.

The cabin was amazing and located in a great location to Boones activities. Brandon was very accommodating and accessible at all times. I will be booking this place every time I come to Boone. It made the trip relaxing and enjoyable!!!

Mountain getaway

Great house in a convenient location

We had a wonderful stay at this house, which is conveniently located near Blowing Rock and Boone as well as numerous hiking trails and attractions. Communication with the host was great. The only addition I would make would be a couple of more place settings for the kitchen.

Beautiful clean home

This home was beautiful and very well maintained. It was very clean inside and well stocked with everything we could have wanted. Location is great! It is enough in the mountain to give that secluded feel but close enough to the main road to make getting places very easy. Close to all the activities in Boone as well as Blowing Rock and some beautiful hiking trails! Access into the home was flawless and Brandon the host was a pleasure to communicate with. I would highly recommend this home and would stay here again if ever in the area.

Awesome stay!

2nd time staying at this home. It's just perfect for our family! Kids love the game room! Comfy beds, super stocked and very clean! We enjoyed using the hot tub and smores by the fire out back. Highly recommend and we will stay here again if in the area. We went for spring break to ski and got a surprise snow day! Just the best experience we could ask for!

Very Clean!

Our stay was wonderful and the house was spotless. Views were beautiful and the house was very spacious! The only downside was the missing large trash bags and communication with the owner was not the greatest during our stay. Other than that would definitely recommend.

Weekend Getaway

House was very clean and well stocked with supplies. Beds were comfortable. We have a full size SUV so parking and turning vehicle around was difficult. Backing down the drive was not an option. Parking space is limited. Very nice stay overall.

Great Escape - Wonderful Mountain Home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space to spread out with a family of 4. My kids loved the loft area with 2 beds! Master suite upstairs was very spacious and accommodating. The kitchen was more stocked than my own kitchen at home, haha! Our family enjoyed the game room downstairs and the laundry room was perfect to dry some clothes after finishing up on the ski slopes. Wish we could have stayed longer, there was so much to enjoy and we will book again when visiting the area in the future.

Ski Weekend with young child

We will be back!! We loved this property! This home was so comfortable and cozy; everything you could want in a mountain house. It was extremely clean and well stocked. Had everything… an extremely well stocked kitchen, pack n play, toddler bed rail, shampoo & condition, lotion, etc. The downstairs laundry room was huge and perfect for all your snow gear when you come in. The upstairs king bed was very comfortable and we slept great (mattress in the firm side). There are a lot of stairs, so if you had young children or trouble with stairs I could see that being a little tough. We had our four year old with us and had no issues. The location is amazing. So close to Boone, Blowing Rock, App Ski mountain, Tweetsie, etc. We also easily went to Hawksnest for snow tubing and Banner Elk for dinner. I see our family returning for ski weekends in the future!

Perfect weekend getaway

House was super clean on arrival and check in process explained everything!! This house is perfect for a family or friend weekend! Although the snow stopped us from building a fire outside, we sure enjoyed the hot tub and the inside fireplace!!! I would give this place 10 stars on location!! Straight in the middle of Blowing Rock and Boone!! Very convenient!! Would recommend staying here!!

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was everything we expected. The location is ideal for a family ski trip, nestled between Application Ski Mountain and Blowing Rock. Everyone loved the hot tub and the foosball table.
