was lovely and Clean. Our Room had a double bed a single bed plus a pull out bed. The main beds were really comfy. The pull out not so much. Room was great for us. There was the odd mark on the carpets etc but not a problem for us. Hotel allows dogs for an extra free. We heard a bit of woofing from the next room but that stopped before bedtime. Room service was easy to order through...

area is good but the facilities could use some attention. There was some sort of party in the hotel that made it difficult to sleep so we had to change rooms but the staff were accommodating. There didn't appear to be much to see or do within walking distance."

"I needed to spend a night in Exeter to pick up a car. The Holiday Inn Express is a very convenient and comfortable hotel, close to the city centre. The location, close to the River Exe means it is much lower than the city centre, so expect a steep walk back to the restaurants in the centre, although the Quay area is more or less on the same level.
