Very nice but small room which is standard for Europe. Location was walkable to the train station and to city center on the main street. Friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice
The friendly staff had our room ready early and allowed us to check in hours before scheduled. We expected to leave our bags and wander around the city jet-lagged, but we’re happy to have a shower and rest before roaming around. The room was comfortable, though a little warm and airless. Breakfast was really nice, and check out was easy. Would highly recommend!

I stayed two nights: the heating stopped working in the second night and it was very cold. They don't have extra blankets in the room and the blanket they provide is very light. Their beds are incredibly close to the window, that means that the cold air hits you when you lay down. Plus, It is very noisy from the market. They have very bad internal communications, and they don't seem to update the records of those who prolong their staying (I did not want to check out at 11 after a very late night in the city). They informed me that I would not be double billed as they were making me a favour. What a terrible customer service move!

This is such a nice hotel! It was extremely clean, the room was very nice and modern, and the free breakfast was lovely and exceeded expectations. The staff was also helpful and kind. I highly recommend this place, especially during a pandemic as it was clean and we felt very safe.

Lovely Hotel
This hotel was ideal for my partner and me: reasonably priced; great location (literally down the street from the main square); the room suited us fine; and the breakfast selection catered to my partner being vegan. Very pleased with Zanhotel Regina.

Hotel easily found. All staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a good selection and continually monitored to keep plenty to choose from. Coffee best I’ve had in a hotel. The room, albeit small, was quiet. No view. The bathroom was very clean and nice to look at with large shower area. I struggle with fixed shower heads however when washing long thick curly hair. The shower area would benefit from shelves to put soap on etc (can’t use hotel soap) and other items but this is ok for a few days there as we placed the seat just outside the shower to put out items on.

Great location - walking distance to everything
The rooms are nice; modern and compact but functional. Location is great, within walking distance to train station and centre of town. I would have given this stay a fantastic review if it wasn't for the fact that they started loudly moving furniture and vacuuming before 8am and then got mad when I complained. But hopefully that is not the norm, and so I would still recommend staying here.

I stayed at this hotel in October 2019. We had a corner room. At the time, there was a large and very noisy flea market outside. Thank goodness for ear plugs or we would not have gotten any sleep. Everything else about this hotel was fine but I cannot recommend it because of the flea market. I would not stay there again.

Nice hotel close to the centre, great staff and excellent breakfast. I have never seen so many types of food for breakfast in my life:-) We will definitely come back again. I really recommend this hotel

Excellent and economical hotel in the center of Bologna! Comfortable, stylish, well-decorated room. Excellent Breakfast! Excellent Service! My wife had left a cosmetic bag in the room when we checked out. I called and asked them to hold it for us for 2 weeks when we could drive back through Bologna to pick it up. Upon arrival, over 2 weeks later, they had the bag and everything was as she had left it. Thank you very much!

We only stayed in Bologna for one night, but this was a great place to stay. The room (as per usual in Europe) was a little small - you wouldn't want a week in a room this size. But the location was great, the bathroom amenities were nice, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent.

Amazing location walking distance to all main attractions. Must be recently renovated as very clean and modern looking. Comfy bed, comfy pillows, great air con that doesn’t make too much noise. Great value. Will definitely stay here again if in Bologna!!

The hotel was perfect for a weekend break. Rooms were clean and completely sound proof, which can be an issue for light sleepers. Location was great. 6 mins from central station & airport bus. Excellent trattorias and bars are also within minutes walk as is the city centre.

Good, modern hotel in an excellent location. Room was very clean with a very comfortable bed- probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve slept in. Only downside was the room and bathroom were small although not to the point to spoil our stay.

Phenomenal hotel. Had two large rooms-only needed one! Updated and extraordinary renovation. Absolutely loved the bathroom. Will copy for my own renovation. Clean. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Amazing find in the heart of the city
Staff was helpful and friendly, location in the city with everything being walkable and right near our favorite place to eat, Ristorante Donatello. It was a very nice experience and we would stay here again. Really can't beat the location and their breakfast was great.

Great location for a short break
The Zanhotel Regina is in an ideal location for a short stay in Bologna as it is on one of the main shopping streets and close to the centre. The hotel is 10 mins walk from the station (where the airport bus stops - only €6 and 20-30 mins from the airport) and 10 mins walk to Piazza Maggiore and access to all the main sights of Bologna. Our room was small with only a small open ‘wardrobe’, but it was spotlessly clean and had a room safe and a small minibar that we used to keep our water cold! Temperatures outside were well into the 30s and we were grateful for the excellent and relatively quiet air con. The bathroom was also compact, but with an efficient walk-in shower and also nice and clean. We were on the 3rd floor overlooking a large piazza to the left of the hotel and despite having a market there every day and basketball practice in the evenings, our room was remarkably quiet. Breakfast was typical continental, but with plenty of choice and there were always two hot dishes (bacon and scrambled eggs) that were an unexpected bonus, as well as good coffee as you can expect anywhere in Italy. The staff were friendly and welcoming and there is a small bar for your evening nightcap. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the size of the room, but we would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to this amazing city.

A experiência foi boa. Quarto bom, limpo, climatizado, cafe da manha atende sua funcao. Achei fora da razoabilidade apenas o fato de ter que pedir café para garçons, deixando-nos um pouco desconfortável. Muito bem localizado. Voltaremos.

Ωραιο και καθαρο σε πολυ καλη τοποθεσια . Καλο πρωινο αν και τα πιατα ηθελαν λιγο προσοχη. Ωραιο μπανιο, ασανσερ, κλπ. Μικρο σαλονι κατω και, στα δωματια αν και το δικο μας ηταν για δυο ατομα μονο μια καρεκλα. Θα ξαναπηγαινα Διπλα υπαρχει αδελφο ξενοδοχειο 3 vechi που πρεπει να ανήκει στους ιδίους με μεγαλύτερους χώρους κατω και περιπου ιδια τιμη.

l'Hotel è situato in un'ottima posizione, equidistante dal centro città e dalla stazione centrale. E in ottimo stato, sembra essere stato ristrutturato recentemente ed è pulito, anche se il bagno non era stato rifornito di fazzoletti di carta. Personalmente ho trovato che la camera standard non è molto spaziosa, me l'aspettavo più grande. In generale comunque molto buono.

Hotel bem localizado, quarto confortável, cama e chuveiro excelentes, café da manhã variado e de qualidade (único problema é a lei atual da Itália que obriga os hoteis a deixarem um funcionário nos servindo, não faz diferença nenhuma no combate a pandemia e sobrecarrega os funcionários). Equipe do hotel atenciosa. Nada a reclamar.
