I stayed 4 nights in a clean, comfortable and quiet room. The temperature outside was in the mid-30s C every day but the room had aircon and I slept very well. The hotel is a grand old place with atmosphere, originally an 18th c palazzo. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very central location. Common areas elegant and generous but rooms are dated and basic. Single room with no fridge, no coffee, no a/c (just a small fan which was inadequate with the heat and humidity). Very quiet.

The location is great / The breakfast is great / the staff on the desk are great / the room is very old, with very old carpet, a ridiculous mobile air conditioning machine, and outer doors which do not close, with very old curtains which also do not close. I could hear a man snoring in the next door room at night. The items in the bathroom are minimal, just very small sachets of shampoo / body wash. But overall, I enjoyed my stay. Barry

This day was amazing, the stuff was so nice and helpful. The location is great with easy access to both train and bus transportation some great places to dine in are right next to the hotel. Thanks for a great vacation.

This hotel is extremely well located in the Old Town and ideal for a few days in Bologna . The hotel is old fashioned but elegant , and the rooms are small but functional . The staff were very helpful and answered all our queries in excellent English . The breakfast was very good and included in the price. Very good value for money and would stay here again.

I can only say that you get what you pay for. A lot of excuses of why things dont work. Had to change rooms because AC not working, then 2nd room no hair dryer, but they did supply me with one. You had to turn AC off when working dryer. Lication very good, breakfast not worth the money. Eggs hurrandous. Durty cleanex under headboard. Told them twice, and nothing. You pay $20 euros per day for parking if you rent a car. Front personal rude.

The only thing good about this property was it location, it is poorly maintained all the carpets are very dirty, the bathrooms are uncomfortable, the toilet do not flush properly, there was no water pressure at the shower, the bedroom are updated, and the most important thing is they do not disclose that they do not have air conditioning, once you get there you realize you don’t have air-conditioning in your room and the temperature outside was above 80. this was the worst hotel I ever been.

The hotel is in a great walking area but difficult for a car/parking. The bed was very uncomfortable and there is little in the room - no cups, no coffee, no fridge. The staff at the desk were not very welcoming no “Welcome to the hotel”” or “did you enjoy your stay?”. They do have a great breakfast and the area is authentic old town.
