"Honestly we are surprised at the high score review for this hotel. It's a very average hotel, in a boring location, finishes are low end, rooms are small and the floor was not vacuumed. On the plus side, our king bed was comfortable and the bathroom. And the highlight was the breakfast which was good. "

"super pretty view from the ocean view room, quick access to the beach and beautiful quite area, would definitely recommend.parking can be a little tight but not too bad!"

"Location was great and staff were kind and helpful, however the room itself was not maintained well and had mold and mildew. We almost had to cut our stay short if it weren’t for the can of Lysol we sprayed everywhere and after tying up the curtains. We couldn’t close them due to not being able to breathe when they were shut. I’m not sure if it’s the HVAC or just a general layout of the building is not equipped for the constant wet air. Maybe they can invest in a dehumidifier. Even the tv stand was rotting away. "

"The hotel was nice and had a very well designed entry and lobby. They do charge for parking which i can never understand if you are a guest why wouldn’t parking be free or included? It is on a busy strip in Wilmington so maybe they have an issue with non guests parking there but you should never charge your guest to park that’s tacky and will always leave a bad taste in my mouth. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. "

"The property was very nice and the staff very helpful. I do think the photos are a bit misleading. I booked a bay view room from the photos and all the rooms look over a parking lot...then the bay. The rooms are renovated in a bohemian beachy vibe but lack overhead lighting so can be pretty tough to see. Also lack of counter space in the bathroom and storage."
