"The property is a charming historic hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely as well, though it was a bit chilly to use it. We enjoyed sitting beside it. Our room was well appointed though cosy. People who enjoy a spacious room would want to specify that when booking. The restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner."

"We chose the Hotel de Bordeaux for our visit to Bergerac for its location and amenities. It did not disappoint; excellent and helpful staff, brilliant location with an easy walk to the old city, a private secure car park, quiet comfortable room, and a good breakfast. "Lovely stay and sad to leave after a week. Well equipped (especially with kitchenware) and good facilities. Good water pressure for the showers and lots of fans for the hotter days. House felt spacious for our 2 families. Loved eating outside and utilising the games room, BBQ and of course the swimming pool! Everything was clean, tidy and well maintained. Really enjoyed the short walk downhill to the village restaurant. Beautiful surroundings and well connected for exploring Bergerac and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend a stay here! "

"We loved our stay at this property. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They provided us with a delicious dinner on out first night and waking up to breakfast each morning was such a treat. Everything is home made and fresh! I also had a lovely massage which I would highly recommend. The pool area is relaxing and picturesque, while our gite had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope we can come backa again soon, "
