During these months, you'll experience longer daylight hours, which is superb for exploring the natural beauty of the West Coast. The warmer temperatures are ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and gold panning, which Blue Spur is known for due to its gold mining history. This period also sees the highest water levels in the rivers, making white-water rafting and jet boating popular and exciting options.

For those who prefer a quieter experience with cooler but still pleasant weather, the shoulder seasons of spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May) are also excellent choices. You'll find fewer crowds, and the landscapes are particularly striking with spring blossoms or autumn colours.
