Custom log cabin steps from the Mckenzie River. Come enjoy the sound and view of the Mckenzie River from every room in the cabin - share meals and games with your loved ones in the screened porch, or enjoy some sun bathing on our new flagstone patio while you BBQ and watch the river rush on by.

Hot Springs, waterfalls, lakes and miles and miles of hiking trails all within 5- 15 minutes of the cabin. Choose your adventure - the possibilities are limitless!

No pets. No Smoking. No laundry machines on site or in town. Please remove shoes due to our wood floors. Due to the limitations of laundry, only one towel, hand towel, and wash cloth will be provided per person.

Rented the unit for a 5 day fishing/hiking adventure on the river with a long time friend. We couldn’t possibly have been more pleased with everything about the home and the rental process! From the decor to the well appointed bedrooms, showers, kitchen and relaxing living room we just felt lucky to have found and secured the home! It’s a very special place right along the river with great access to many of the commercial businesses nearby while also feeling so remote in the Cascade foothills. Would definitely return and couldn’t recommend it more. Thanks again for all your attention to every detail.

With Dee's clear instructions, we had no problems finding our cabin and making ourselves at home. We were delighted with its tasteful decor and its comfortable layout. The weather was perfect so the porch was our favorite place; with its perfect view of the river, it was where we relaxed, spent hours talking and ate in style. As a cook, the kitchen had not only everything I needed, but had quality equipment - a true delight to cook in. And nearby restaurants and store filled in our "food" needs. We had come to the McKenzie to recharge and that is exactly what we were able to do. Thank you, Dee, for being such a great hostess.
