We stayed here during their off season in the summer and it was incredible. The grounds are huge and well maintained with lots of walking paths and outdoor activities.
Had a wonderful 2 queen spacious room. Parking was close and area was well kept. Would recommend here for the discounted price I had. Staying during off season.
We were impressed with everything from the moment we arrived and were greeted by the friendliest and most helpful staff. But I have to say the most outstanding thing for me was the quality of your beds. It was the first pain free night I’ve had in many years. So much so I’m researching the purchase of a new box spring and mattress that will be the same brand etc. We will definitely be returning next week on our way home.
Absolutely loved our stay at Mike Wiegele. Everyone was super nice, friendly and helpful and the room was clean, large and well laid out. Enjoyed paddle boarding on the lake and wished we could have stayed longer.
The whole property is incredible. Every single cottage is a log cabin and the workmanship of the building we were in was outstanding. Every other building appeared to be the same . This place looks like it can accommodate a couple or large groups. Frankly we were not expecting what we found when arriving but we would recommend this place to anyone that finds themselves in the areas of Blue river.
Our only complaint was that the temperature of the room was on the cool side and we could not adjust the temperature.
Beautiful spot and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for a long time. Would definitely go back. (Only next time I need to bring my own tea bags.) Loved it.
Very nice place it was quite surprising, incredible price. Views were worth the visit as well such a beautiful spot everywhere we looked, very well done!
Very cool property. Beautiful landscaping. Beautiful log cabins. Very helpful staff. Wish we could have stayed longer. We had a cabin to ourselves and was more than plenty of space for our family of 4 and 2 big dogs. We will make it an annual stop on our way to the coast!
Room was lovely. IMMACULATE. huge shower, gorgeous log cabin construction of all units. Easy hike around Lake, beautiful grounds. Will definitely stay here again!!!
We had booked a one night stay as we were passing through. The resort is located in a quiet treed area far enough from the highway lending to no road noise.
The check in was quick and easy. Our room was on the ground floor, The room was pristine in cleanliness. The beds were comfortable. The only downside for me was the tub/shower combination. It was very attractive, the only issue was that it was a deep soaker tub with shower doors. This made it a little difficult to get in and out. I think that this would be a potential issue for those who are not so nimble.
The lake was small, but large enough to canoe, paddleboard and enjoy the mountains. The resort restaurant across the road served good food. On this particular Saturday evening there was a great band which we really enjoyed.
We would enjoy a longer stay in the future.
