A wonderful weekend!
As everyone else has said, the pictures just don’t do it justice. It is even more beautiful. So comfortable and inviting. Spent a lot of time just relaxing on that porch and taking in the beautiful views. You won’t be disappointed with this one!

Amazing Experience
Our experience was wonderful. The check-in process was a breeze; getting there was easy if you follow Google directions and pay attention to the numbers. I got there late at night but I made it up there effortlessly with low visibility. The property is gorgeous and spotless. Even though I wanted to enjoy nature, I could watch my college football games. The TVs were great. The place has most of the basic items you need. Everything. The game room downstairs is perfect. Lots of different things to do. Your kids will have lots of fun. Overall, 10/10 experience.

This home was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway to Blue Ridge! It was the first time that a rental home has been even better in person than in the pictures. It was beautiful and the incredibly well-stocked with everything we could possibly need. The office even made for an ideal nursery for our baby. We would absolutely come back here!

Wonderful place to stay in Blue Ridge!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The home is beautiful and has everything you need for a stay in the mountains. The view, amenities and covered deck were by far our favorite part. Absolutely amazing place to stay. Our teenagers had space to hang out in the basement playing checkers and shuffle board while we were up on the deck enjoying coctails and the view. When we wanted to watch the Olympics, the couches were comfortable and the right size for our entire family. Thank you so much!

Our Favorite Cabin in Blue Ridge
This is the 4th or 5th time we've rented this cabin and can’t wait to go back. Everything we use is on the main level and we bring our dogs. One of them is a senior so the ramp to the fenced in yard is perfect. We love it and can’t wait to go back! Thank you, Matthew for being a great host!

"WOW" factor!
Have you ever had an experience or seen something that stops you in your tracks and all you can say is "WOW"! This home has the "WOW" factor and then some. This home looks better than the VRBO pictures. We stayed two weeks, and I did not want to get off of that porch looking over the mountains. Five plus stars!

Mountain paradise
This place is amazing!! The pictures do not do it justice! The view is stunning. We spent so much time on the gorgeous covered back porch that had the most amazing views! It is gorgeous home in a great location. We brought our dogs and they loved the porch as much as we did not to mention the fenced in yard. The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were beautiful and we had great water pressure(which if you have ever stayed in the mountains, that is a big deal) The house is in a beautiful community with all paved roads making it not difficult to access at all. We did have a little problem upon arrival but Matthew responded immediately and took care of the issue right away. He even checked up on us in the following days to make sure all was ok. He was a great host. We would definitely stay here again!

A Must Visit
Almost Like Home is a beautiful cabin in Blue Ridge, with amazing views! Mathew and Sara were fantastic hosts. They were super quick to reply to inquiries, offered a helpful "things to do in the area" listing, and even gave us their phone numbers in case we needed to reach out for any reason (which we didn't). The cabin itself was great - clean, spacious, and well stocked with all the essentials for a pleasant get away. I definitely hope to return for another relaxing weekend soon!

Truly almost like home!
This house is laid out perfectly for my family of 6. Plenty of space to spread out, relax and get cozy. Beautiful yet cozy decor, and thoughtful touches every where! The owner was extremely responsive, kind, accommodating and full of knowledge regarding the area. We were truly minutes from everything when we wanted to venture out, but everyone was perfectly happy staying in and enjoying the cabin life! Will definitely be back.

This property was close to shopping, hiking an other destinations such as Helen and Turtle Town, for family fun. Loved the basement for our youngest kiddos who could play, bunk and stay up late without disrupting the rest of the house and they loved having their own space. Our oldest has his own space too. We enjoyed the hot tub, mountain views from the main room and the deck and the fenced yard for our pup! The drive was steep, so we had to maneuver a little as we drove with some additional things in tow. The host was very responsive with the needs we had upon arrival, and we had a great time!

I received excellent detailed information about the home, the surrounding area, and directions to the house. The home is absolutely gorgeous and immaculate. It’s even more beautiful than the photos. Our group had everything we needed as far as linens, appliances, etc. we enjoyed the views, peace and quiet along with the fire pit in the evening. We took time to explore downtown Blueridge and the local orchard. All in all, we didn’t want to leave and wished we could stay at least a week or more. We would definitely rent this beautiful home again.

Enjoyed staying here with my sister & our mom, celebrating her 95th birthday! The fact that this home is accessible for anyone with limited mobility helped us tremendously to assist getting her in & out. Most everything we needed was on the entry-level floor. The house is beautiful & had everything we could have possibly needed. The view is beautiful! The road leading up to the cabin is very good, although it was a bit narrow. Very quiet neighborhood. The hosts were excellent in communicating everything to us before, during & after our stay. I definitely give this place a thumbs’ up!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. We spent most of our time in the kitchen around the fabulous island eating and drinking. Then hit the hot tub for relaxation. The beds were comfy and we all slept well. Would definitely go back.
