"The cabin was just what we needed as a quiet getaway from caring for our mother in her last days. It was a great little place to refresh and enjoy some peace and stillness. When we arrived the geese were still on the lake but while we were there the surface froze and became covered with a thick blanket of snow. Very pretty! The cabin was clean, well stocked, and suited our needs perfectly. The host was very responsive and flexible as our reservation had to change a bit a couple of times due to unanticipated needs. Would definitely stay there if in the area again!"

"This home is truly spectacular. We stayed over Thanksgiving, expecting that preparing a holiday meal away from the conveniences of our own kitchen might be challenging. Instead, we found that the kitchen far exceeded what we have at home—beautifully equipped and a joy to cook in. The dining room is equally impressive and provided a perfect space for our entire family to gather and share meals together.The home itself is a beautifully restored early-1900s house, full of charm and character. It overlooks a peaceful pond and a gorgeous barn, creating a setting that feels both serene and special. Cozy yet spacious, it was an ideal place for a memorable family holiday."
