"Did what it’s is on the tin. Will stay there again - No. it is not my type and I did not research it enough before booking. iHG hotel but did not really match up according to me. Location in a chic neighbourhood with lively bars and cafes just behind a he hote. Staff very friendly . Building new and glass structure. Reception tired. Common parts not inspiring at all . Room very large - decoration very mediocre high street furnishings. Please note toilet is separate without a basin so inconvenient. Bath is inside the main room so noisy to the other occupant . Had room slippers missing so was inconvenient. Slight walk to the action of the town centre about 10 minutes. If you need the buzz then this is not the place but if you need chilled yes it is . Also superb terrace restaurant ! "

"Very helpful receptionist on arrival with baggage storage, as we arrived early. The tram stop was quite near so no problem getting into town centre. Our room was a studio with facilities to cook and eat should we wish to. The room was large and clean with on suite shower and the beds comfy. On a busy road, but not too noisy with window closed. "

"The hotel main reception and bar area is nice, with modern decor. The staff were also very friendly. The room had nice decor and very spacious and there was minimal noise from other guests. It was excellent that the hotel has a water tap offering filtered water (including sparkling) to refill. The only minor issue was the shower head did not work properly as half of the nozzles appeared to be blocked. Also, we got to our room and 10 minutes later the service maids were knocking on seeing if we needed the room clean which I thought was strange & even with the do not disturb sign they knocked on. The property is conveniently located with a tram stop right across the road. The tram journey towards central takes 20-30 mins depending on where you get off so easy. Although, going to the centre it begins quiet but more towards the centre it can get very busy and on the way back can also be standing room only. The hotel is also right near the lake and it is a nice walk around the lake. "

"In the past 12 months we’ve stayed in some 30 hotels from Australia to the UK, France and The Netherlands and this would have to be one of the best!! Our room was really well thought out and obviously designed to make one’s stay as easy and pleasurable as possible. It featured a compact kitchenette with a good sized fridge with a freezer section, a fold down table that was easily big enough for 2 c/w 2 folding chairs that can be stowed in the robe, plus 2 comfortable armchairs and a good size coffee table. Bathroom included a heated towel rail which comes in very handy when like us, you’re on the road for several months and need to wash some smalls. Staff were absolutely fantastic and most helpful. The only downside was the restaurant isn’t open for dinner at the weekend and the menu is limited, mainly to pizzas!! "
