"The Gite served as a base for our exploration of the Arras region. The village is lovely with a lot of history - please try the fare at the local bakery. The Gite itself is small with 3 bedrooms but with potential to sleep 6. Having this number stay would perhaps be problematic with regard to the sitting room which, although comfortable, is small (but more than adequate for our stay). "My wife and I stayed in Brimeux for three nights in preparation for returning to the UK via Eurotunnel which is under an hour away. The house was immaculate and matched the photos perfectly. The house is ideally located for visiting the lovely village of Montrieul sur mer and an excellent veterinary surgery for our dogs to have their tapeworm tablets. "A warm welcome. A pretty room with very comfortable bed, kettle and TV. Spacious bathroom with walk in shower and double jacuzzi bath. Parking right outside. Great location for Montreuil, Valloires Abbey, and the huge sandy beach at Berck. I was in the main house, but Elise also has another property just down the street. Breakfast at main house though. (Not sure this was clear online.) Bistro in village open Friday and Saturday but plenty of places to eat in Montreuil which is a 15minute drive."

"We stayed here for a couple of nights to break up a long drive back to northern England from Burgundy. We left wishing we had longer as the area is beautiful, clean, quiet and the same could be said for the accomodation. The hosts were very welcoming and despite the language barrier due to our poor French, they gave us some great recommendations for our stay. The local pizza was very welcome after our long drive and a day at Saint-Valery-sur-Somme watching Sea Lions likewise. Would definitely love to come back to explore more of the area in the future "
