The Lehigh Cottage - Pocono Mountains get-away with gorgeous private waterfall!

Leave the daily rush behind and escape to your own secluded setting along the Lehigh River in the Pocono Mountains. Private river access for swimming and water activities in Summer! The Cottage is a short walk through our farm and orchard to the private river for water activities. The Lehigh Cottage is located in Stoddartsville, PA - a secluded 1800's village of only 8 houses - and is the perfect spot to get away and relax. Whether sitting by the fireplace, sipping coffee or tea on the wrap-around porch, or even watching your favorite shows on the 60" flat screen, you're sure to fall in love with the charm and beauty of the Cottage and the area.

The Lehigh Cottage includes the following amenities: private access to approximately 1 mile of of the exceptional value Lehigh River surrounded by over 75 acres of private, preserved Wildlands and over 1000 acres of state gamelands.

Relaxing and quiet!

There were a few minor things that could have been cleaner. The grass could have been much shorter. BUT OVER ALL it was a cute little house. The people we seen were extremely friendly. We enjoyed the quiet and the waterfalls were beautiful. The tub in the main bathroom was the best!!

Wonderful getaway

April weekend

We had an excellent weekend at the Lehigh cottage. The waterfall was beautiful and our gracious host was ok with letting us come 1/2 hr early to check in. We had all we needed and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the koi pond and it was in a great location. Not far from hiking and Jim Thorpe. We recommend staying here for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

A perfect weekend getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the point village of Stoddardsville. It was wonderful to look out the window in the morning and see several deer. We enjoyed tracing through the snow and exploring the grounds. We had a lovely time.

Seclusion & Downtime

Was looking for time alone, away from everything to kinda unplug and re-charge. This little Cottage was absolutely perfect! Was so comfortable and inviting. Had everything for my needs. The bed was so comfortable, pillows too! Fireplace was awesome! Will be back some day!

Pocanos getaway

The cottage was very cute, exactly as pictured. The weather wasn't great during our stay but we were still able to get out and do some hiking and skiing. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful place in the Poconos

My wife and I loved our weekend at the cottage. The place was just as advertised--beautiful waterfall on site, secluded but close to the attractions of the area. We really appreciated the proximity to the Bear Creek Preserve and Blakeslee Natural Area too.

Philadelphia to visit Grandma

Such beautiful scenery. I wish it was a little easier to access the waterfalls. My grandma wasn’t able to go to the water due to the steep trail. Water was hot, heat worked great, towels were fantastic, bed was comfy, water pressure good. Couch was a little too firm for comfort.

Everything about the stay was GREAT!! The air conditioners were needed and worked well. The Cain was great in a perfect location every thing went flawlessly. Will do again i believe for longer stay.

Perfect little getaway

We had zero issues with our stay. Communication was quick and easy with the host. 2 nice sized bedrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. Towels and linens were provided, which really helps when you don't have to pack and bring linens, towels, etc.
