"The cabin was great, clean, very well equipped with everything you could need. It also has great charm with the old cabins bookending the addition. The great room/living room was large and very comfortable. We loved how secluded the cabin was. The views were by far the best part. The apple trees next to the deck were deer magnets. Even had the chance to see two large bucks, which you never see. We would absolutely stay there again! Thank you!"

We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit with smores, and beautiful sightlines as the fall colors started to reveal themselves. The inside was very clean and well appointed. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the large kitchen and living room. Bedrooms and bathrooms provided everything we needed. "This is my husband and my second trip to this lovely cabin. We went there in July for our honeymoon and loved staying there. We just got home from our second trip there. We are so happy to spend our time in the Meadows of the Dan. Staying at this wonderful cabin makes our vacations extra special. "We had a very comfortable stay at this property. Water was too low for kayaking but the house was very roomy and comfortable. It is as the pictures depicted and the area is extremely quiet. Even though it ended up being only 3 of us staying the house could easily sleep10 as advertised - we stayed there because of a family reunion at my sisters in Blacksburg which took about 40 minutes to get to her house. Would recommend this property to a big group as it can handle it.Thanks for the comfortable...

"This is the second year at the Lazy Bass. We had such a wonderful time. The house is in such a great location and all the local neighbors are so friendly. The only issue we had was the gas grill did not work. Lindsey with Blue Ridge Escapes was wonderful and said she would alert the owners. Can’t wait for next year. "
