Hotel massive. Like a maze. Room was very standard and simple but clean. Had a back room so looking in the the yard and other rooms but didn’t want to pay £30 extra for sea view. Mainly for older generation as in our 30’s 40’s we were the youngest there. Breakfast was self service and very nice. All fresh. Tv very small could do with bigger. Right at the attractions and great location.

Food was really good. Entertainment was good especially compere. Prices at bar were a bit steep but i suppose you pay extra with the entertainment provided. Would go back.

This is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed in the breakfast was beautiful the staff were the friendliest I have ever come across the evening meal was outstanding the starters main and dessert I could not fault me and my partner will 100% stay here again

The nightlife at the Viking has always been O.K. The staff are very polite and helpful, the food is good, but the decor, especially in the rooms is very dated, also the lifts are tiny. and the car park gets full quickly.Overall I would give the Viking Hotel 7 out of 10.

Loved the cabaret bar although it needs an uplift and lighter brighter decor and better lighting, acts are fantastic, no need to venture out if you don’t want as all you need is there.
