Outdoor swimming pool was good only slight thing was single beds uncomfortable
Would stay again@
Close to beach
Close to trams
Parking free right next to hotel
The hotel and the pools were brilliant. The only thing that let it down a bit was the breakfast offering. But it was enough and arrived quickly.
The tram stop was right outside which was great as we used the trams daily.
The best hotel in Blackpool this was the 4th time I've stayed and I will never stay anywhere else.
pool, food, entertainment all just fantastic!!
Perfect experience every time
I liked how efficient the kitchen staff & waiting staff were.
However food quality was basic & tasted prepacked, which didn't match the way it was 'highlighted' in reception.
Unfortunately very institutionalised in many ways.
Okay for a much older clientele, in my opinion.
Had a great time as a family with two young children. The reception, lounges and bar areas were fairly modern and bright. The kids loved the entertainer that was on 8-10pm. Breakfast was nice. The pool area and rooms were dated, our room over looked the pier, which was lovely, The hallway and rooms could just do with decorating and brightening up but wouldn’t stop us from staying there if going away for a night in Blackpool again.
Staff very friendly and helpful, comfy bed, clean and tidy rooms, bins emptied every day, refreshed tea and coffee every day, good selection on breakfast and excellent service by Una x

Nice room, foid was good and outdoor pool lovely.
Would definately stay again
We had a problem on check in. Were given a room on 4th floor,,very clean, but tight next to the room was a door said Danger high voltage. Asked reception about it and all I got were smirks and giggles, and told, it's probably boiler room.wasnt happy but had to accept it.will not be going to this hotel again.
We had a wonderful stay at the Doric Hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The food was excellent, with a good variety of options and something for everyone. The hotel amenities were great and well maintained, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Breakfast was great.
The room don't overlook the beach, but that was not a problem.

Room overlooking out door pool, corridor outside wasn't cleaned properly. Upon check-in we were informed of £50 per nightcarge for damage. Thus putting £100 extra on the bill.Staff in restaurants very helpfull breakfast was very nice.
Lovely staff, they could not do enough for you. The entertainment for the children was perfect and the adults loved it too! The food was really good, both breakfast and dinner, and the service was excellent. The indoor and outdoor pool were fantastic and very clean. I am looking forward to staying again

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Very clean hotel, friendly staff and a good atmosphere especially with the entertainment of an evening. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
Unfortunately the shower pressure was terrible and the mattress was awful.
