Another fantastic weekend stay at the Headlands. Classic hotel on Blackpool's south shore with easy access to trams and transport links. Cracking cooked breakfast in the morning, and Staff are absolutely first class, friendly and incredibly courteous and helpful. Hotel had everything I needed for my stay over the weekend and I would highly recommend.
Lovely classic hotel in a great quiet location close to tram stop. Ok, hotel is maybe a bit dated but that's half the charm of the place. Staff were interacted with throughout the hotel are first class and very helpful and friendly, and to top it off the breakfast was delicious and filling setting us up for the day.
Spent long weekend, staff very friendly and helpful, room was clean and serviced daily
Breakfast again was excellent.
Hotel is in the quiet end of Blackpool, but the esplanade tram service is 100 yds.away
Great classic hotel at the southern end of Blackpool and close to pleasure beach and tram connection. Staff are excellent all round, and can't do enough for you. Breakfast is delicious and has a full range of cereals, juices, and cooked breakfast to order. Good range of parking available either in the hotel or on street outside (currently free at time of review)
Really nice hotel been here twice now its out the way of the loudness of Blackpool so is a bonus 😀 its just past pleasure beach ⛱️ staff are brilliant rooms are nice with beach view
Proper old fashioned family run Blackpool hotel. Arrived a little early but allowed to check-in. Room was spacious and clean with a great sea view. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the service was amazing with nothing too much trouble would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great staff, comfortable and quiet stay. Good breakfast. Recommended.

Seen better days
Is a decent enough hotel but it was in desperate need of updating , swirly old fashioned carpets , pelmets , tatty furniture , wallpaper on the ceilings , although the breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful , the bed was very clean and comfortable

On the whole, considering the age of the property it was comfortable, the car parking was good. Breakfast very good staff quite friendly, nice bar with a good selection of drinks on offer. Prices reasonable, I would use them again.
The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfy. It wa
s quiet.
I likeblack pudding and fried bread with breakfast, personal choice x
I loved it. Nice and quiet lovely comfy beds and a snooker table. Yes its in need of a new cloth and some new balls but its rare to find a hotel that jas one these days. Id stay there this week but its fully booked out!
We have stayed at the Headlands Hotel, Blackpool on several occasions in the past and have always enjoyed going there. This time we stayed for 2 nights, mid-week in September to visit the illuminations and the Tower Circus. Once again, we were very pleased with the Headlands, great breakfasts and evening meals on both days. We had a double, sea facing room on the second floor which, as always, was spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable, tea & coffee provided in the room, shower and bath with plenty of hot water. Yes, the rooms are old-fashioned but that is the style and ambience of the hotel, coupled with excellent, friendly service from all the staff. Thank you Headlands, we will be back!

Positives: Cheap, generally clean, free parking, good breakfast, staff.
Negatives: Tired and rundown, dated furnishings, most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on.
Aa absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel is quite old which really just adds to it's lovely cosy character. The staff / owners are fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble. A breath of fresh air to have such caring staff. It was lovely and quiet and was so relaxing. Wonderful views. Super clean comfy room . Breakfast was included but I needed to be up early to head back to Manchester before breakfast had started. The lovely gentleman said that if I just popped into the kitchen that they would happily make me a quick bacon sandwich or something anyway! Very kind and helpful. A really lovely stay. A real hidden gem! Thank you so much!
The hotel standard was excellent and so were the staff. Good selection of food from menu. Hotel lift available and request for walk-in shower was granted.
