Very good hotel

Stayed in a nice spacious clean room ,good shower free soap/shower gel comfy bed . Only dislike were the blinds when you leave window open they blow so no privacy when getting changed and they rattle through the night would be better if curtains were fitted .would stay again because it is nice .

Friendly and Welcoming

Check in was quick and easy, and Graham was very friendly and welcoming. we had no issues at all over the long weekend we stayed, with everywhere being very clean and tidy. We will definitely be back :)

Great location and nice owners

Location is great being just a few minutes walk to the Winter Gardens and town centre shopping. Owners were pleasant and very receptive. The room (No, 4) was generally quite cramped; tea, coffee & biscuits were nice; the sprung mattress was tired and noisy; couldn't watch TV in bed due to position of the TV; toilets were very cramped (hardly room to sit on toilet). Breakfast was OK, with enough to eat. A two-night stay was probably enough for us. Would we come back? Yes but we'd probably insist on a different room.

lovely place, lovely couple

Graham and Richard go out their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible and are always very accommodating to our needs. Breakfast is always brilliant and cooked fresh. The only real downside is the water pressure in the shower. Ok for a shower but not great for getting all the hairspray and gel out your hair after a dance comp but that’s neither here or there.

A superb guesthouse, exceptionally clean. If anything was lacking, it did feel a bit sterile, there is no welcoming lounge or bar and doesn’t have the old style guys house feel in that sense. However, there has clearly been work to maintain this place. Nothing broken, damaged. Bed comfortable. Hair dryer in room, wifi works well. Bathroom in good condition and the two gents are friendly. Location is also excellent for accessing the town centre quickly and only a 3-5 minute walk down the the coral island/promenade. There are many cheaper options in Blackpool, but these can be risky. There are also many more expensive options which can also be risky so overall a very good place to stay where you won’t have any nasty surprises.
