It wasn’t a big deal but if we were staying longer sleeping in with anyone in the kitchen would’ve been difficult. But other than that it was an adorable setting with plenty of outdoor space. Cocktails on the back porch during a rain storm was so relaxing. We walked to dinner. "

"Enjoyed our stay. House was very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Wonderful towels. I was surprised to find that one of the full bathrooms was in the basement rec room. It worked out fine for us but I was expecting two bathrooms on the second floor with the three bedrooms. I could not tell from the online description where the bathrooms were located. The house was very conveniently located near downtown Clayton, close to restaurants, shops, grocery store and church. We were very pleased with the rental and would recommend it."

"This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway without kids! This place was so cute and cozy. It was super clean. We got there after dark and they made sure there was a light on inside for us. The garden had several solar lights as well that made it easy to see. It was close to the downtown area which has a bunch of cool places to eat and shops to visit. The house was pretty much only 15 min from the other towns close by. She recommended the blue hound BBQ, which was amazing, and the Tiger Mountain Winery, which was also amazing. We will for sure return to do more hiking in the area!"

"The Sparrows Nest was fantastic! We (8 people total) stayed here for a weekend so my now husband and I could get married at the state park near by and it was an excellent choice. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The house itself was gorgeous and clean and had great views of the surrounding mountains. We’ve already discussed staying here again in the future for a potential (leisurely) hiking trip, so I definitely recommend! "

"Hotel was adequate, old Hotel that has been remodeled. Room were made up daily and were clean. Check in was just ok, no personality. No Kleenex in room and TV was not much. "
