Far from store access and very isolated deep in the woods , about 40 minutes from closest tim hortons , one room has no privacy , not able to watch tv and the beds are not very comfy, sorry but will not return.

Romantic get away

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and explore Cape Breton. Great location and the private beach was extra special.
My fav view day and evening.

Very cute place loved the private beach . The brown tinged water and smell was a bit of a turn off even though they have a water softener and everything in place. Also, I found the floors a bit dirty/sticky. It’s not well marked the house itself, a local had to help us find our spot. It was my first time using this check-in and had no internet so it made things a bit challenging for me.

Very unique cottage, with lots of Knick knacks, it was super clean. The loft bed area is really cool. It's designed different than any other cottagIe 've been in. I love that pets are allowed. The dogs absolutely loved it. I was a little disappointed about not having dogs on the beach until it was cleared out from the locals on the beach because they don't like dogs on the beach. I always have my leashed even in their own yard, but the dogs did love the beach. They ran around, and the beach,Looks like it's something from Florida. I never even knew -being from this area that we had such a nice beach. Owner and cleaner very easy to communicate with. Will go back again♡

An absolute gem

We had an amazing time here celebrating our third anniversary. The property is beautiful, the neighbors were very welcoming and kind. The projector is a sweet touch. We weren’t really expecting that! They have everything you need, a beach within walking distance that is like some place you’d see in Florida. We hope to someday come back for a longer stay. Cannot suggest this spot more.10/10

From the photos shared by the host, we got the impression that the property was right next to the beach. In reality, while you can see the water from the property, it's actually quite a distance away, with several other properties between the house and the beach. That was a bit disappointing because it wasn't what we expected. Other than that, we had a nice stay and enjoyed our time there.
