New 3BR Single-Level Home / Chef’s Kitchen / Firepit / Sleeps 7

Our 3 BR/2BA single-level floor plan allows for the perfect gathering spot for family and friends. The living room opens seamlessly into a fully-stocked "chef's" kitchen. Our outdoor spaces equipped with a firepit, grill, dining table, and rocking chairs allow guests to enjoy the fresh mountain air. The location of the house is ideal for day trips to Asheville, exploring downtown Black Mountain, visiting Montreat, or hiking & biking in the nearby national forests.

The Space
We think you will love every one of our 1500sq feet, with 9ft ceilings and bright natural light. The house is located in a new neighborhood with sidewalks just minutes from downtown Black Mountain. Our propane firepit and patio seating make the perfect spot for enjoying the peace and quiet of the mountains after a busy day of exploring.

The main bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed, attached bathroom, and a large closet. Soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided in both bathrooms. The queen bedroom offers a sitting space and a closet. A hall bathroom with a tub and shower accommodates the queen room and the 3rd bedroom.

The 3rd bedroom has a trundle daybed (2 single mattresses) and a small futon. Please note that the futon is only 57 inches long and might prove challenging for guests over 5'7".

Amenities:
Misty Mountain comes with a kitchen fully stocked for food prep. If cooking is a fun part of your holiday, then you will enjoy all the "tools of the trade" and the space to create on our large granite island and spacious counter tops.

We provide a Kuerig machine with a milk foamer, in addition to a Cuisinart drip option.

Location: The house is 1.4 miles from downtown Black Mountain and 1.1 miles to the town of Montreat. A 20 minute drive will bring you to downtown Asheville, close to hiking and waterfalls, the Biltmore Mansion, the Blue Ridge Parkway and so much more in the North Carolina mountains!

Other things to Note:
The house is located in a new neighborhood. Some construction on new homes still continues, but it is quiet and should not disturb your stay. The road our house is on is fully completed and free of construction vehicles.

The address is 1204 Seven Sisters Rd., Black Mtn, NC 28711. We are in a great location to explore all the Asheville area has to offer!

One last note: You will notice "Ring" video door bells on the front and back doors. This is only for security when no one is staying in the house. There are no cameras in the house. We are highly committed to your privacy and will not access the ring doorbells while we have guests in the house.

Amazing stay!

We came to Black Mountain to serve food during the hurricane cleanup. The house suited our needs perfectly. Very clean, spacious and cozy. Also very well stocked! Highly recommend!

Beautiful new home in heart of black mountain

Beautiful new construction home. Everything was super nice, well decorated and clean. Location was great, right in the middle of black mountain which is an adorable town 15-20 minutes to downtown ashville. Would stay here again!

Quaint Village Home

Perfect location for Thanksgiving family get-a-way. Home was beautifully appointed and served us well, during our Thanksgiving feast preparation. Our host/hostess were extremely gracious and answered our questions quickly. Located about a mile away from downtown Black Mountain; a town with many great stores and restaurants. Thank you for a really special retreat.

Black Mountain stay

This property was exactly as appeared in pictures, maybe even better. It had everything that one would need to have a great stay. Each time we wonder if they had this or that, it turned out that they did. And it was super quiet both in the house and in the neighborhood. We would recommend this rental to everyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this dreamt Black Mountain home. The interior decor was on point with several antique pieces of furniture to accentuate the home. The cookware was of great quality. We were able to cook several meals there. The open layout made the house very welcoming and comfortable for just hanging out. This is the best house rental I’ve stayed in, hands down.

Great house, easy location

The house had a very well equipped kitchen including a coffee and tea station. Small touches throughout the house were appreciated. Easy check in, check out, and communication was through, accurate, and timely. The house was close to both Montreat College & downtown Black Mountain. Construction is actively happening in the subdivision, but it did not interfere or affect our stay. Host/hostess was very upfront about the construction at time of booking. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great Place!

We enjoyed our girls' week in this lovely home. The place was incredibly clean, tastefully furnished, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was super easy with a key code and Whitney (property manager) was very responsive to our questions. The beds were comfy and the linens plentiful (there is nothing worse than not enough towels!) Other reviewers have mentioned the construction in the neighborhood -- it did not affect our stay at all. The home is rather close to its neighbors, but we rarely saw anyone else, and the proximity did not bother us. This was a perfect location for visiting the sights in Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We loved the little town of Black Mountain and found some great restaurants.

New prefab home

This prefab was clean and well stocked. The neighborhood is jammed with prefab homes. It's like a trailer park. No privacy and homes are very close together. Couldn't open blinds without looking into someone's home. Not for us but a nice clean home and management was very good.

Beautiful and comfortable

The moment we entered we felt at home. The house was roomie and decor right out of Joanne's Magnolia playbook. I love that comfortable low-key elegance! Near everything in a very short drive. Fully stocked and loved sitting on the porch talking to people strolling by. Beds comfortable along with sofa. Nice having large table to spread things out and island seating. Loved having washer, dryer and deep utility sink. Lint balls great along with iron and board. Liked roomy shower as could fit shower chair. Would like to have had at least 1 bar in shower and especially tub as tub hard to lift yourself out without ridge on wall side. However I would stay again anyway as so many pluses. Signage cute and coffee/tea bar separate great! Highly recommend with everything you need plus. Thanks Whitney! bedrooms

Cute Home in Black Mountain

Nice clean home close to downtown Black Mountain. Host was pleasant and sent all the information needed for easy check-in. Location is great! Wish our plans allowed for a longer stay.
